Great way to get a taste of the city and its history! Paula was a kind, considerate and knowledgeable guide! Highly recommended.
The bus content was very similar to our previous days “hop on hop off tour” , so that was a little bit disappointing Our guide was probably the weak link, but we really enjoyed the island part of the package We Would certainly recommend this tour to others, but with luck you’ll get a more inspiring guide
Too long and hot for walking in Soumenlinna the ferry wasn’t new and comfortable not so informative tour the guide was a little more expressed not bad guy but a little strange for me
We had an awesome tour with Peter. We went around the city in a very nice, spacious bus, best tour bus we’ve have ridden so far. Peter was very knowledgeable, friendly, very patient, considerate and gave us ample time to take pictures and we were never rushed. We were picked up from the hotel and at the end of the tour, we finished off at market square which is about 8min walk from the hotel.
Wonderful tour, lots of walking so need good shoes!! Sonna our guide was wonderful and so full of history and information, with a sense of humor also she made our day!!
Sanna is our guide tour. She gave us a lot of information and history. We have enjoyed with local food that she recommended
Had a good introduction to some of the highlights of Helsinki including a ferry ride to the fortress. Included a lot of walking, but it was a beautiful day. Tour guide was very good.
Good introduction to key Helsinki sites and excellent guided tour of Suomenlinna Island Fortress. Bus ride portion was good but, as it was Sunday, guide should have scheduled Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral visit to not conflict with service period---entry prohibited. Also could announce when and where bathrooms could be accessed. The Suomenlinna portion was led by a knowledgeable man, Ed, who really knew all of the important history and was an accomplished speaker.
Very good introduction to Helsinki key sites and a detailed guided tour of Suomenlinna Island. Length of tour was just right although the Helsinki portion was unable to enter the Uspenski Cathedral due to services. Also guide could have noted bathroom locations prior to ferry ride. We were fortunate to have a smaller group and beautiful weather. The island guide, Ed, was very knowledgeable about the area (he actually pointed out working pickpockets on the island area.)
We had a very good guide, Harry. He was very informative about all the sights and when we said we had been somewhere before hesuggested going to see something else. It was an interesting trip to Suomenlinna and the local guide was also very good.
