A great way to sample some wine and see a bit agricultural New Zealand. The wineries in this valley are pretty and the wines influenced by the very unique microclimate. Stephen was our guide and he was amazing. Last stop was a disappointment- a cheese shop with one tiny sample I wouldn’t call it a tasting experience and would recommend Zoso cleave it from the tour.

This was a tremendous tour. Phil was an excellent guide/driver. Trip was really interesting with three great wineries and stops/lookouts along the way. Phil’s knowledge of wine (broader than Martinborough) was top shelf. Would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Each of the wineries we visited had friendly and knowledgeable staff. Willing to go above and beyond to make your tasting experience as enjoyable as possible. Our tour guide was also friendly and knowledgeable as well as pointing out points of interests along the drive and giving us time for a quick picture at several areas.

Zozo Travel is the best option when it comes to a personalized, small group tour of wineries in Martinborough. Phil was very knowledgeable and ensured everyone had a great experience. The trip over the mountain from Wellington to Martinborough is absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing, fun, relaxing day with Phil, our driver. His knowledge about the area, the towns and the wines was extremely fascinating and presented in a fun, chatty style. ( Not like an educator.) Where he stores all that knowledge is a mystery to me. We were a minimum size group and were fortunate to strike wonderful weather. The 3 cellar doors we visited were each different in their own way and their approaches to introducing us to their wines was interesting. Our lunch was worth the extra cost and was divine.Phil ate with us and the chatter and information was smooth and easy.......like some of the wines we tasted. I cannot recommend Zozo Travel Ltd highly enough. Honestly you will be glad you chose them. Guaranteed.

A very enjoyable tour to 3 Martinborough wineries. Gary, our tour guide was a very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable guide and we enjoyed his commentary on our journey out of Wellington. We liked that the chosen wineries all had a different approach to the tasting experience but our favourite was Poppies as we were given more information about each wine and how it was made etc. Lunch at Moy Hill was good but suggest if you have allergies that you ensure that information is given when booked as there isn’t a big choice available. We appreciated that Gary was able to stop a couple of times for us to take photos on our way home. And because our group kept to the time schedule, we were able to make a quick stop at the wine shop in town to buy some bottles as well as at C’ est cheese in Featherstone. We would definitely recommend this tour as it is a great way to see some of the Waipuira Valley outside the Wellington environs and of course- being able to taste some good wine and cheese. Thank you, Gary, for a fantastic day.

Excellent commentary and guide knowledge. A good variety of nice wines to try. Beautiful drive through lush hills. No rush at each stop. Very accommodating guide. Had a wonderful day.

We had a fabulous day on this tour. Our amazing tour guide Gary was a wealth of knowledge. We learnt so much about Wellington, surrounds and the wine region. We had great chats and he answered all our questions with lots of local insights. All the vineyards we attended had a great selection of red and white wines to taste and the lunch we ordered at one of the vineyards was delicious. Highly recommend this tour, we loved it.
