Very good experience with a very knowledgeable guide. We booked a different tour but because of weather they asked if we were ok to switch to another location which we agreed and very glad we did!

I booked with T4W to see Sete Cidades, Lagoa do Fogo and Furnas across three days, and it was easily the best money spent. The team employs very knowledgeable and highly passionate guides with excellent English-speaking skills, and by booking a private tour we got to adjust our itinerary based on our personal interests and what the weather allowed for. Our tour of the western part of the island to see Sete Cidades ended up being the most unexpected due to the heavy fog that prevented us from seeing the two great lakes from the peaks of the craters. Unfortunately unpredictable weather is a part of life on the Azores, and the best way to deal is to simply take it all in stride. I'm quite grateful we had the flexibility to change up how we spent our time. We still took time to see the two lakes up close, and it was very interesting to hear the background behind their formation. With the weather being what it was, we ended up spending a bunch of time in Mosteiros, where my kids enjoyed playing on the beach and hopping around its many naturally-formed pools. We also visited a pineapple plantation and learned a great deal about why Azoreans invested in growing pineapples, and the many steps involved in its 2-year maturation process. While a fully ripe Azorean pineapple looks diminutive in size, it is absolutely packed with flavor and is a must try for any fans of citrus fruit.

We travelled this afternoon with Marcio who whisked us away to the beautiful Sete Cidades. After a short drive, we promptly hopped into a kayak (dont forget your water shoes, you will get wet) and explored the lakes area. Our guide Marcio was a wealth of knowledge about the island and made me wish that my family was staying longer. 4 hours didnt seem to be enough. We ate a quick snack at a local restaurant and headed up to kings view. It was unexpected to have perfect views of the ghostly remnant of the Monte Palace, ask a lot of questions. It is a very sad story. Thank you for spending your afternoon with us today! We had a lovely time.

Excellent experience with T4W from start to finish. Communication with the company was easy and efficient, and everything was very well organized. Luis was a fantastic guide. Friendly, knowledgeable, on time, and clearly passionate about his country. The car was very comfortable, and the entire tour was smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience to Sete Cidades with family members of multiple generations. We were a group of 15 (grandparents to young children), and this was a fun and beautiful experience to share with everyone. Our guides were exceptional with their stops, courtesy, knowledge, and explanations. The views are breathtaking.

What an incredible experience! This was one of the best tours we have ever booked. We got to experience Sao Pedro from a locals perspective, travel some backwoods that the regular tour companies can't access, and even stopped for a delicious coffee and snack along the way. I would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone - even our kids loved learning about the Açores! Thank you!
