Our guide, Eduardo, was very knowledgeable and made this tour memorable! Highly recommend! The views are breathtaking and we enjoyed learning about and stopping by the pineapple plantation.

Eduardo was a great tour guide. We had some fog, but we still got to see some amazing views. He was flexible and came prepared with umbrellas.

Eduardo was extremely knowledgeable about the island and its history. We saw many beautiful sites and did it in half a day, which I enjoyed.

We were so unlucky with the weather. But we were so lucky with the guide Paulo! Knowledgeable, charismatic, so obviously enjoying his job and so in love with his Homeland. He made us wish to come to Azores again and again! I wish him all the best and many thanks for the great time in Sao Miguel!

We had a great half-day Ponte Del Garda - 7 wonders Sete Cidades tour through TripAdvisor with Into the Wild Azores Tours. The booking process was straightforward, with timely confirmation emails, a notice two days before the charge, and a WhatsApp message the day before with pickup information. We were picked up by Ana in a comfortable van for a group of nine. The small group size and van allowed us to visit places that larger buses cannot access. Ana was lovely, kind, and knowledgeable — a local with a genuine love for the Azores, nature, and animals. She adjusted our route based on the weather to make sure we experienced the best possible views, both from afar and up close. The volcanic lake and the twin lakes of Sete Cidades were stunning, even though the weather was a bit cloudy. Seeing how the tunnel drains water from the lake into the ocean was especially interesting. We also spent some time in the village, visited a local shop, and unexpectedly found ourselves stepping into a church service, followed by the Festa do Divino Espírito Santo parade with a brass band and local parishioners — a very special experience. We were dropped off at the city square near the port, enjoyed some pastéis de nata, and visited Mercado da Graça. A lovely tour, great value, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. 👍👍

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Azores with Anna last Sunday. She was delightful, professional and gave a perspective of life in the Azores that was uniquely personal yet helpful should we return or ultimately live in Portugal. I particularly appreciated seeing the tunnel through to the sea and although I know it was coincidental, the procession out of the church at our mid-trip stop was magical to witness. Appreciated also the lead-in preparations of letting us know Anna’s WhatsApp number and that our tour would absolutely not ‘run long’ so that we would be able to get aboard the Apex in plenty of time before she sailed. We have taken multiple tours through the years suggested to us by Tripadvisor, and Into the Wild’s is one that we would most DEFINITELY recommend, (particularly if Anna happens to be your guide♥️).

This tour covered the western area of the island. Stopped off enroute to Sete Cidades for some amazing photo opportunities of the rugged coastline. There was a welcome refreshment stop half way through the tour which lasted around 4.5hrs. Ana, my friendly tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, full of enthusiasm and positive energy. I left the tour feeling I had learned so much and made a new connection. Thank you. 😃

Excellent tour and tour guide... Well worth the price. The view from the top of the hills looking down on the craters was awesome. Our guide knew the entire history of the island and explained everything in great detail

We had a wonderful time with our guide, Ana. She took us to Sete Cidades and shared many interesting facts and legends about the area. The views were amazing and she definitely added to our experience. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely lovely 1/2 day (which we felt was perfect), exploring the majestic sights, with Eduardo. We were a group of 6, traveling in a comfortable van. Eduardo had a speaker, so everyone could hear his commentary. Be prepared for some significant hiking/walking to the sights. It was no problem for us, but we were glad that we wore our workout sneakers and we bundled up in layers, as it was sometimes windy and chilly. Highly recommend!
