Aノ湖（芦ノ湖、Aノ湖）は、3000年前の火山の最後の噴火の後、箱根山のカルデラに形成されました。今日、富士山を背景にした湖は箱根のシンボルです。湖の海岸は、東と北の小さな町といくつかの湖sideのリゾートホテルを除いて、ほとんど未開発です。 富士山と湖の最高の景色は、元箱根（観光船の桟橋から南へ数歩）、箱根戸建庭園、湖をクルージングする観光船から楽しむことができます。
箱根神社は、12世紀以上もの歴史を持つ静かな信仰の場です。 社殿は幾度か焼失・再建を繰り返しながらも、神社と周囲の森には平和と神秘の雰囲気が残されている。
箱根ロープウェイ（箱根ロ－プウエイ）は、箱根を訪れる一般的な方法である箱根ラウンドコースの一部です。早雲山駅（箱根登山ケーブルカーの終点）と桃源台駅（Aノ湖の湖shore）を接続し、途中で大w谷駅とU湖駅に停車します。ロープウェイは箱根フリーパスで完全に覆われています。 ロープウェイのゴンドラは1分ごとに出発し、それぞれ約10人に適合します。ロープウェイの全長を移動するには約30分かかります。旅の途中で、乗客は、視界が許せば、早雲山と大between谷の間にある大Valley谷渓谷と、大ko谷と桃源台の間にあるshinoノ湖と富士山の活発な硫黄温泉の景色を楽しむことができます。大w谷ではゴンドラの乗り換えが必要ですが、ウバコでは乗り換えの必要はありません。 入場料 箱根フリーパスの対象となる1480円（片道）
箱根彫刻の森美術館は、自然と芸術の調和を目指して箱根に建てられた日本初の野外美術館です。美しい木々や草、山に囲まれた約7万平方メートルの広大な敷地のいたるところにアート作品が配置されています。 お子様連れのご家族から大人の一人旅まで、幅広い年齢層にお楽しみいただけます。
大涌谷は活火山で、地元の温泉の源となっています。火山の上をロープウェイで登って展望台へ行き、大切な火山について学び、長寿の黒玉子を食べてみてください！
スキンケアおよび美容製品を扱うポーラグループは、故鈴木恒氏の膨大な個人美術コレクションを展示するため、2002年にポーラ美術館をオープンしました。 美術館は樹齢300年のブナの森の中に建てられ、コンクリートとガラスで造られていますが、周囲の自然環境を乱さないよう設計されています。これを実現するために、建物の大部分は地下にあります。 美術館には、主に日本とヨーロッパのアーティストによる近現代絵画、彫刻、陶器、ガラス製品が展示されています。特別展に加えて、美術館ではセザンヌ、モネ、ピカソ、ルノワールなどのアーティストの作品を含む常設コレクションから選ばれた企画展を展示しています。
岡田美術館は、古代から現代までの幅広い美術作品を展示している個人所有の美術館です。2013年にオープンしたこの美術館は、東アジアの陶磁器、彫刻、絵画の膨大なコレクションを特徴としており、そのすべてが、日本庭園、茶室、温泉足湯のあるカフェを備えた広大な敷地に囲まれた非常に広々としたモダンな施設に収蔵されています。 上層階は日本の芸術に焦点を当てており、さまざまな芸術形式と時代が表現されています。展示されているほとんどの作品には、英語、中国語、韓国語、日本語で基本情報がラベルに記載されています。 入場時には、美術館のセキュリティ対策がかなり厳しく、携帯電話、カメラ、バッグ、さらには文房具も正面の無料ロッカーに保管する必要があることに注意してください。

箱根ガラスの森は、イタリア風の建物の中に美術館やショップが入っています。外には運河のような池を囲む大きな散策路があります。庭園には大きなガラスの彫刻がいくつも置かれ、端にはオープンテラスのあるカフェがあり、そこではカンツォーニ（イタリアのバラード）のライブ演奏が行われます。 ガラスの森のベネチアングラス美術館には、100点を超えるベネチアングラスのコレクションがあります。花瓶、ゴブレット、ランプ、彫刻など、あらゆる形の現代作品と古典作品が展示されています。 箱根ガラスの森は、テーマのある高級レストランを運営するうかいグループによって運営されており、富士五湖地域の河口湖にある河口湖オルゴールの森も所有しています。
強羅にある箱根美術館は、1952年に岡田茂吉によって設立されました。姉妹館であるMOA美術館は、後に伊豆半島の熱海市に建てられました。 この美術館では、主に先史時代から江戸時代（1600-1868）までの日本の陶磁器を展示しています。その中には、重要文化財に指定されている埴輪などの大型の土器や陶磁器の器も多数含まれています。
長安寺は箱根仙石原にある曹洞宗の寺院です。1356年に丘のふもとの静かな場所に建立されたこの雰囲気のある寺院には、樹木が生い茂る境内と墓地を通る心地よい散歩道が整備されています。 しかし、長安寺の魅力は、境内に点在する200体以上の羅漢像です。羅漢像は1980年代に登場し始め、それ以来増え続けています。それぞれの像は顔や形が独特で、物思いにふけるような真剣な像もあれば、気楽でユーモラスな像もあり、他の羅漢像のコレクションと比べて、芸術的なスタイルや表現力に現代的なエッジがあるものも多くあります。 秋には、境内は箱根の紅葉を楽しむのに最高のスポットの1つでもあります。ここの多くの色づく木々は、通常11月中旬頃に見頃を迎えます。
箱根湿生花園は、富士箱根伊豆国立公園の高原にある植物園です。この公園は、日本固有の湿地植物や高山植物 1,700 種以上を保護し、展示する場所として 1976 年に設立されました。 この庭園には、さまざまな種類の湿地を通る遊歩道があり、湿地に生息する植物について学ぶことができます。案内標識は英語と日本語で書かれています。この庭園は、ニッコウキスゲが満開になる 6 月には人気がありますが、冬季は閉鎖されます。
強羅公園は、強羅駅の上の急斜面にある西洋風の景観公園です。箱根の景色を楽しみながら、リラックスできる場所です。 強羅公園は主にフランス風の景観公園で、大きな噴水とバラ園があります。公園には2つの温室があり、1つは熱帯植物園、もう1つは花園です。さらに、メインの噴水を見渡せるレストランと、白雲堂茶園があります。 クラフトハウスでは、ガラス吹き、ガラスエッチング、陶芸、ドライフラワーアレンジメントなどの工芸アクティビティに参加できます。アクティビティの料金は1,000円から5,000円で、完了まで30分から1時間かかります。
200 年以上前のものも含め、世界中のドールハウスをコレクションしている趣のある博物館です。 博物館では年間を通じてさまざまなドールハウスの展示が行われていますので、ぜひご覧になる予定のものをチェックしてください。ミニチュア愛好家にはぴったりの場所です。
成川美術館は、日本画と呼ばれる絵画様式に特化した現代美術館です。文字通り「日本風の絵画」を意味する日本画は、日本の伝統的な芸術的慣習、技法、道具、材料に従った絵画です。この名称はもともと、日本画を西洋風の絵画と区別するためのものでしたが、その後、芸術家たちは日本画の範囲を広げ、西洋の技法も含めるようになりました。 美術館には、美術コレクションのほか、大きな窓から芦ノ湖を見渡せる素晴らしいパノラマラウンジとカフェがあります。晴れた日には、富士山、湖、箱根神社の浮かぶ鳥居の最高の景色を楽しめます。
大涌谷自然学習路は、活火山地帯を歩く特殊な散策路です。 箱根の地熱活動の様子を間近で見ることができます。 事前予約制で入場料は800円。

We had an awesome tour of the Hakone area with Masa! Even though the weather prevented us from doing our planned hike, Masa seamlessly adapted the day and made sure we still had an incredible experience. He is exceptionally kind, helpful, and packed with interesting information about the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and highly recommend booking with Masa to anyone visiting Japan and heading to Hakone!

Did not have the experience everyone else noted. Start at 9, dropped at our last stop at 12. Not a 6-8hr experience and not worth the money. We did 3 stops in 3 hrs, each stop rushed and I was told that the 3rd stop was the last of the day. I told our guide he can go if that’s the case. The possible itinerary is a posted on the listing far exceeds reality. We took the bus to the ropeway, ropeway to the lake, bus to the open air museum. We were supposed to stop by Hakone shrine/samurai path/town with the magic boxes, but immediately told to get on the bus as soon as we got off the boat. I could have organized this myself and came away with the same experience.

Very bad tour, honestly we could have seen the city on our own, the guide also spoke little English and was not very well informed. So he did not give us a good explanation

This is the perfect tour to experience the best of Hakone. Our guide, Hiro, was incredibly communicative beforehand and made sure we were able to visit all the places on our list. It was especially nice to experience Hakone from a local's perspective and explore places we wouldn't have found on our own. We were also lucky enough to have incredible views of Mount Fuji throughout the day from several different vantage points. I would recommend this tour to anyone, and if you get Hiro as your guide, you're in for a treat. We had the best time with him and shared plenty of laughs.
I had learned a lot more about Hakone thanks to our tour guide Kate, she was very informative and considerate due to the typhoon we were hit with. She was also very encouraging and always offered to take photos of myself and my partner. I would recommend it to anyone who goes to Hakone
