I highly recommend this highlands with distillery tour. Our tour guide and driver, Mike was fantastic! He shared lots of Scottish history, clarified facts from fiction and played traditional music. We had several rest stops with clean bathrooms in addition to our tour destinations. The whisky distillery was really interesting and we also ate lunch there which was all scratch made soups, sandwiches, quiche and pastries. The national park was beautiful with time for a short hike to incredible views. Of course, the hairy coos stole the show with their chilled out dispositions and the option to feed them. What a great day!

Great day trip out of Edinburgh city to see the Scottish cows and Loch Katherine. Cows so cute and eat carrots provided to us or you can buy in the shop for 1 euro. My favorite was the small village of Callander outside of Stiling for a lunch or shop around. Craig our driver super friendly and told us so much about Scottish history and the area. He’s a great guide. Ask him about Highlander movie with Sean Connery and who his favorite bond actor was. Picked up 10:30 back by 6 pm

He was good with the history and these song that go with them and it never got boring

William our tour guide was brilliant and great at telling us the dark and twisted history between Scotland and England and the witch trail also the songs they've played were perfect for the story he was telling. My favourite part was seeing the hogwarts express go by and seeing the places that places were filmed/inspired by once they were pointed out. Would definitely recommend and would do it again.

We had a great day with our driver guide Mike. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and absolutely the best tour from Edinburg especially you don't want to do the long drives to see the beautiful nature of Scotland. We had been thru the countryside,had photos of Fourthrpad bridges,met with hairy coos,whisky tour at a distillery and a walk near Loch Katrine… Story telling is a gift to the Scotts and Mike made it the best way with great folk music of Scottish spirit. We came at festival time and this was really an escape from the crowd so we could have rested ourselves. Thank you Mike,great job!

Tour guide was amazing. Very informative tour as we drove through to and from Edinburgh. A few good stops a long the way. Issue we had was with the highland cows unfortunately. They are precious creatures but there were only three of them in a little space. We felt that they weren’t being well taken care of between how dirty they were and constant crowds encompassing them. It just felt like 20 minutes out of the 6.5hr tour shouldn’t give it the name of hairy coos. Overall everything else was fine. We were able to a beautiful lake, countryside roads and a few castles. As I said, our tour guide was incredible, polite and informative.

This tour is a lovely alternative to the longer day tours. As someone who didn’t want an exhaustive day, this option worked best for me. Howard shared knowledge of history as we traveled along. I enjoyed the ride thoroughly.

A really fun and well organised tour- props to the guide Mari. A lot of time on the road but definitely worth it to see the beautiful scenery

Craig was lovely. We got the perfect amount of Scottish history, funny anecdotes, and sing-a-long playlist. The tour length was perfect and the distillery was loads of fun. We traveled with a 10 and 12 year old. Would definitely book with The Hairy Coo on a future trip.
