We just got back from a brilliant holiday in Sri Lanka with Lanka Safe Tours and honestly couldn't recommend them enough. We went to Kandy, followed by Bentota and then finished up in Colombo. Our driver was Prasanna, and he genuinely made the trip for us. He was so lovely and always on time, meaning we actually got to see everything we wanted to without any stress. His communication was spot on too - he'd always let us know exactly what time to be ready the next morning so we knew what was happening. He’d always message us after we checked in at each hotel to see whether the facilities were up to our expectations. He was also incredibly flexible and completely worked the trip around what we wanted to do, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and tailored to us. He explained everything really well as we went along and gave us great context on the sights. Plus, driving in Sri Lanka can be pretty chaotic, but we felt completely safe with him the entire time. If you're booking a trip, definitely use these guys and ask for Prasanna if you can!

We had the pleasure of having Prasanna as our driver for our 6-night, 7-day tour of Sri Lanka, and we couldn’t have asked for better. Beyond our expectations! [we are not saying this lightly as we have travelled to almost 60 countries to date! ] We knew Sri Lanka will be a great experience, and, by living in Australia, we know many Sri Lankan people. We already knew how polite and nice Sri Lanka's people can be... Anyhow, the last 8 days with Kavishan as our driver and a tour guide, we became so close, we feel like we know him for years. He is so knowledgeable about their history, culture, traditions, political system, economic relations, tourism, etc etc. We have conversed in 100s topics over the past 7-8 days and we didn't have to google anything we were interested in. It was just amazing to have someone like Kavishan to talk to, especially on these long 3+ hours rides. The tour and the route we took was just perfect for an 8 day holiday. Starting and ending in Colombo, with so many sights in between, from temples, hikes Safari etc.... The hotels [4 star package chosen] were definitely worth it. Some better then others but definitely wouldn't have chosen such good accommodation if we did all the bookings ourselves!. After this tour, we will recommend Safe Lanka tours to all our friends as there is no way for such affordable price to get such a good value for money, and I will note again, we are frequent travellers with lots of experience organising and budgeting for tours.... Honestly, if we were to organise all these hotels, transport, daily tours, guides, sightseeing etc ourselves, we would have spent more money, much more time and definitely wouldn't have enjoyed as much as we did this week! Final statement: Best value for money and life long lasting experience!

Prasanna was a fabulous driver/guide. Very helpful and attentive to our needs, and looked after us very well. I would highly recommend using Lanka Safe Tours for trips within Sri Lanka. We were a group of 3, and prasanna was very cooperative, It was a fabulous trip to SL!!
