仏国寺（ぶっこくじ）は、大韓民国慶州広域市の東咸山の中腹にあるユネスコの世界遺産。 統一新羅時代の774年に竣工し、仏教建築と石工の粋を誇示する朝鮮で最も意義のある美しい寺院の一つである。 ダボタプ塔や石窟塔、優雅な清雲橋や白雲橋など、いくつかの国宝がある。 仏国寺は地上の仏教の理想郷を表すために設計され、すべての構造は深い哲学と芸術思想を反映している。 今日、仏国寺は宗教の聖地としてだけでなく、韓国で最も人気のある観光地のひとつとして、地元民と海外からの観光客の両方を魅了しています。

My husband and I booked a private tour of Gyeongju, and we were so happy with our choice! Our tour guide Wiro picked us up at our hotel in Daegu, and over the course of the day, we visited Bulguksa Temple, Kyochon Village, Daereungwon Tomb Complex, Hwangnidan Street, and Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond. The all-day tour concluded with a return to Kyochon Village to view Woljeonggyo Bridge at night before heading back to Daegu. There were two breaks: one for lunch after the Bulguksa at a tasty restaurant and another in the evening to explore the many little stores and restaurants along Hwangnidan-Gil at our own pace. Meals were not included, but the prices were very affordable. Our tour guide Wiro was very informative, warm, and flexible. We learned a lot from her, and we were so glad to have her as a guide, as she was ready to accommodate whatever need we had. If you take the tour in the summer, make sure to wear sunscreen, dress appropriately, and be prepared for plenty of walking, as it is a comprehensive tour. We had a great time, and it was the highlight of our Korea trip!

We had a wonderful day trip from Daegu to Gyeongju! The day was well planned and our tour guide, Wiro, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of each area we visited. Highly recommend taking this tour if you get the chance!
