1.641 Hello. Having time, I answer the question related to the tour inside the ALCAZAR in Cordoba. It is a fake and a theft. I paid 48 euros (2 people) to the VIATOR company, for a guided tour inside the ALCAZAR Cordoba, May 30, 2026. The day before the tour, I received a message informing me that the ALCAZAR palace was closed (in fact, it had been closed for a long time and will remain closed for renovations in June) and they propose a walk along the outer walls. My refusal was mentioned in the response "I am interested ONLY in this tour", meaning I am ONLY interested in the paid tour and not in another alternative. I did not receive any response to my refusal and on May 30 I showed up at the meeting point to confirm my refusal. The guide Montse from TourOmeya had a phone call at the company and told me that everything was fine and the payment of 48 euros would be refunded. In the afternoon of the same day, I received a message from TourOmeya announcing that I would NOT receive the payment because they interpreted my answer as an agreement for the walk by the walls. Obviously, I replied that "ONLY" in my answer means my lack of interest in the alternative, as long as I paid for a tour inside ALCAZAR. Therefore, do not hire visits etc with local companies in Cordoba, especially TourOmeya, who steal from you. I have tried several times to contact VIATOR, but it is impossible for me. I will continue to demand my rights, which are correct. It is about PRINCIPLE and SERIOUSNESS. For confirmation, my reservation had no. 1785414805.

The tour operator informed me of the cancellation of the visit to the Alcazar of Cordoba on May 30, shortly before the 24-hour deadline for cancellation, offering an alternative visit, which I declined. On the morning of May 30, I was informed that I had to handle the cancellation myself: of course, the Viator website did not accept the cancellation of the reservation before the scheduled time for the visit. The tour operator acted in its own interest, pocketing the cost of the reservation, but did not protect that of the customer.
