The driver never said a word until I tipped him, but he got us to our destination efficiently. Pick up at the airport was seamless.

I am usually well pleased with the services I receive from Viator. This experience, however, was extremely disappointing on several levels. First, the reservation I booked well in advance was canceled 23 hours prior to the pick up date and time because, I believe, they saw the sudden demand with providers receiving more than six times more; which was what I had to pay upon rebooking. Second, I ordered an English speaking driver and did not receive one. Lastly, I ordered a large SUV and received a small, older Toyota Yaris. To be clear, beyond these issues the driver was friendly, safe and responsive. Moreover, he was apologetic for the other challenges.

Regarding the vehicle provided, please note that according to our company policy, for 1–2 passengers we provide a standard sedan class vehicle. For 3–5 passengers, we assign an SUV class vehicle, and for 5–8 passengers, a minivan. As your booking was made for two passengers, a standard sedan was allocated accordingly. If you specifically required an SUV, we kindly ask that such a request be clearly indicated in the booking requirements, and we would have certainly taken it into consideration. We also sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectation of an English-speaking driver. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we will review this internally to ensure better consistency in the future. Regarding the reservation changes, we regret any inconvenience caused. Situations like these are never our intention, and we always strive to honor confirmed bookings while maintaining fair and transparent pricing. At the same time, we are pleased to hear that despite these issues, the driver was friendly, professional, and ensured a safe journey. We will be sure to pass along your kind words to him.
