The pyramids and sphinx are of such historical importance and just wonderful to see them in their raw state. touring is made easy with busses and being able to hop on and off at the different sites. The guide was fantastic as well as our driver. we booked for the entrance to the two available pyramids and despite it being hot and quiet a climb within the pyramid it was well worth the climb

We had a truly wonderful and memorable day exploring some of the treasures of Cairo, visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum and the magnificent Pyramids of Giza with our excellent guide, Mona, and driver, Sayed. Mona was an exceptional guide. Her knowledge of Egyptian history was wonderful, but what we particularly appreciated was the way she shared it with us. She explained everything so clearly and brought the history to life, happily answering our questions and giving us time to really enjoy and appreciate what we were seeing. Visiting the GEM with someone who could explain the stories and significance behind its incredible treasures made the experience so much more meaningful. And then, of course, there were the Pyramids. Nothing quite prepares you for standing in front of something you have seen in photographs all your life. To finally be there, looking up at these extraordinary monuments and contemplating their age, size and history, was something we will never forget. I even decided that if I was at the Pyramids, I simply had to take a camel ride! Rod opted out, but I absolutely loved it. 😂 It was great fun and certainly added another special memory to an already unforgettable experience. Our day also included a traditional lunch at a local restaurant where we enjoyed delicious grilled chicken and rice. Rod was brave enough to try the grilled pepper as well — perhaps a little too brave! 🌶️😂 It was definitely far too hot, but gave us something to laugh about. We also visited the Government essential oil centre and a papyrus shop, where we learnt a little more about these traditional Egyptian products and crafts — and, of course, we couldn’t leave without purchasing a few things to take home with us. 😉🥰 Throughout the day we were provided with plenty of cold bottled water, which was very much appreciated in the Egyptian heat and meant we stayed well hydrated and comfortable. A very special mention must go to our driver, Sayed. The traffic in Cairo has to be experienced to be believed! 😂 What appeared to us to be complete chaos was obviously perfectly normal to him. He was calm, capable and an excellent driver, and we felt completely comfortable and safe with him throughout the day. Mona and Sayed were both professional, friendly and caring, and we felt very well looked after from beginning to end. It wasn’t simply a day of sightseeing; it was a wonderful introduction to Egypt, its extraordinary history, culture and people. Our first visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids of Giza will certainly remain one of the highlights of our time in Egypt. Thank you, Mona and Sayed, for making our day so special. ❤️

Pyramids, GEM, souvenir walking, Koshali, very fulfilling content, our guide Elham was very understanding and kind in English. Each session was very flexible and allowed us to stay in each facility until we were satisfied.

It was an amazing amazing day, the day started of great with our tour guide Asma coming to pick us up with our driver, we embarked to the pyramids and she picked up our tickets and we went on a camel ride which was great, we then proceeded to the Pyramids were Asma explained in detail facts and stories about the Pyramids, the Sphinx. We then went for lunch and to some attractions before we went on to the Great Egyptian Museum where Asma demonstrated how knowledge prowess with detailed explanations on artefacts that piqued our curiosity. It was a great day !!!

Our host, Muhammad, was fantastic—engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the history of the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Museum. Even with limited time at each location, he made sure we learned the most important facts and answered every question thoroughly. The tour was well‑planned, efficient, and delivered everything that was promised. Overall, a memorable and very well‑guided experience.
Michael, our Egyptologist, and Ahmed, our driver, were both amazing. Michael’s expertise really showed throughout the tour. He explained everything clearly without ever making it feel overwhelming. He also knew exactly where to take the best photos and captured some fantastic pictures for us. An excellent experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!
