フーバーダムは、アメリカ合衆国ネバダ州とアリゾナ州の州境、コロラド川のブラックキャニオンにあるコンクリートアーチ重力式ダムである。 世界恐慌中の1931年から1936年にかけて建設され、1935年9月30日にフランクリン・D・ルーズベルト大統領によって献堂された。 その建設は、数千人の労働者を巻き込んだ大規模な努力の結果であり、100人以上の犠牲者を出した。 建設中に議会を通過した法案ではフーバーダム（ハーバート・フーバー大統領にちなんで）と表記されていたが、ルーズベルト政権はボルダーダムと命名した。 1947年、議会はフーバーダムの名称を復活させた。

Nice trip. Over priced $199 two locations and a meal. On a big bus seemed like a lot of cost for each person.
