We highly recommend this tour. We were in Barranquilla to take the AMA Magdalena River Cruise. (We had never heard of Barranquilla prior to signing up for the cruise.) Our guide Andres was excellent. He covered all of the stops on the itinerary and added a few that we were not expecting such as the Eco Park. We wanted to have lunch (which is not Included) and Andres took us to a local seafood restaurant which we enjoyed very much. The Carnaval museum was a highlight and is not to be missed. We wanted to pick up a few souvenirs and Andres took us to a huge souvenir shopping center with many vendors and a nice selection of souvenirs. Our tour lasted eight hours rather than six because of the extra stops. Andres was born in Barranquilla and he has lived there all of his life. He is passionate about his City and clearly loves showing the best of Barranquilla. Andres is polite and considerate. He constantly checked in with us to ensure that we were comfortable and that the tour was meeting our expectations. Also, Andres is a good photographer and took many photos of us. We really enjoyed our tour of Barranquilla and the time we spent with Andres.

I had a business trip to Barranquilla and did not hesitate to take my family for a weekend to get to know the city. We lived this Tour and we could know the beautiful and beautiful side of this city. We got to know his culture, we talked to his people and we could see from another angle how wonderful Curramba is. This experience is highly recommended.

We had a great day with our tour guide Yamit. He brought us all over Barranquilla to see many wonderful things .Many spots we would have never known about without him.We even got to try chicha and carimoñolas.Yum.

Wonderful place ravine advances in leaps and bounds all the gastronomic and tourist space was equal to the city

It was very disappointing. Two of the places were closed and the tour guide didn’t know in advance. Very unprofessional 😥

During my week-long visit to Barranquilla from the United States, I set out to find a city tour that covered the essential sights. Gran Malecón, Carnaval Museum and Downtown Barranquilla City Tour proved to be the perfect choice. Soon after I booked, my guide, Yamit Bocanegra, sent a warm greeting through WhatsApp. He stayed in touch until tour day, which put me at ease. On the morning of the six-hour excursion, he arrived punctually and waited inside the hotel lobby so we could meet without delay. His car was parked right outside, and its air conditioning worked flawlessly, a welcome relief in the ninety-two-degree heat. Yamit was attentive, friendly and fluent in English. He shared rich historical background at every stop and kindly took photos for me, since I was traveling alone. Throughout the day he also introduced me to local street snacks, giving me a taste of what Barranquilleros enjoy to stay refreshed. Our itinerary included Monumento Ventana al Mundo, Ciénaga de Mallorquín Park, Shakira Sculpture, Aleta del Tiburón Junior, Sofía Vergara Statue, Plaza de la Aduana, Paseo Bolívar shopping district and the Carnival Museum. Each site felt distinctive, informative and genuinely worthwhile. There was not a single stop I would have skipped. My previous trip to Barranquilla was twenty-one years ago, and many of these attractions did not exist then. Seeing the city’s progress over the past two decades was inspiring. Gran Colombia Tours and Yamit Bocanegra delivered an outstanding experience that captured the vibrant culture of Barranquilla.

Super!! We had little time to get to know Barranquilla and Yamit helped us get to know the main attractions in half a day, explaining each place in detail, as well as being an excellent photographer haha since it happens to you asks if there is something special you want to know and includes places like the Mallorquin bog that are totally worth knowing. Super recommended!

Barranquilla is very beautiful, I followed advice and visiting the seawall, the world window and the shark fin after 5 pm is the best, both for its beautiful lighting and cool temperature.
