Gorges du Verdon : ラベンダー、キャニオンボートピクニック＆ビレッジ

This tour is absolutely incredible! We booked this while on our honeymoon in Provence and had the best time! Very easy meeting place to start, and lots of fantastic views during our tour of beautiful lavender and poppy fields. We got to operate our own electric boat with a picnic on the gorge and absolutely LOVED our visit to Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon, which included time to explore and relax on the beach! Highly recommend booking this tour if it’s available!!

Wonderful day - great scenery, boating, views of lakes. Tom collected us in a comfortable van, packed a delicious French picnic for us to enjoy with wine, great driver, easy going and accommodating. Excellent English. Highly recommended.

Today I visited a place I have wanted to visit for many years and finally it has happened! I took Tom's tour becaus eit offered me the experience I wanted to see the Gorge up close from the water, unlike many of the other tours that come here. Tom also provided a picnic lunch (with a nice mini bottle of Rosé. The trip out and back was comfortable, the company (there were other people on the tour who were lovely) and Tom was informative, chatty and friendly. The Gorge was worth the years of waiting - it is lovely, even on a day when the sun came out and hid all day. The little village of St Croix was a great finish to the day and the lavender fields smelled lovely and looked great with the mmountains in the background.

Amazing Day - the Gorge and lake are the most incredible scenes and the best swimming ever. The lavender has just bloomed - such a fun day.

Overall a great experience with a really friendly host. Starting with a boat trip at the Gorges du Verdon you might want to take the maximum amount of time to explore the area by electric boat. A very relaxing experience. The lavender fields were already fully harvested but it was nevertheless an enjoyable ride through the Provence to the next stop St. Croix, a lovely old town nestled on a hill next to a lake. Tomasz, the host provided us with a delicious picnic containing bread, fruit, cheese, some other cold delicacies, and local wine. The host in general was very friendly and eager to share his knowledge of the area. He took great care of us throughout the day and was driving from spot to spot, organising things, while giving us privacy during the activities. Overall, highly recommended trip that you will surely enjoy!

We had a great tour with Tom! Although we were unable to see the lavender fields (because they had been harvested ) it was still still amazing day . The boat trip on the lake was beautiful ! Tom was helpful to us and accompanied us on the boat as we were nervous to operate it ourselves 😅. Great picnic also !

This was a magical experience for the whole family. We brought our two children (ages 4 and 6), and our day guided by Tom created memories to last a lifetime for all four of us. We started with a timely pickup right outside of our accommodations in Aix, and we were so grateful to have Tom navigate the winding drive in a comfortable vehicle while we were able to just sit back and relax. The weather and water at the Gorges du Verdon looked like a movie set, and Tom handled all of the logistics to get us set up with a boat and a Provençal market dream picnic. After boating Tom went out of his way to make sure we were able to stop and see all of the lavender and sunflower fields we could handle-not the easiest feat considering harvest had already begun. He also volunteered to capture our many family photos :-). We then finished the day with ice cream, drinks and a swim at the village and lake of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon. Finally, we were delivered right back to the front step of our apartment in Aix. Anyone can make arrangements to go see these sights on their own, but Tom makes the experience local, unique and completely hassle-free.

Highly highly recommend. We had an amazing day exploring Provence with Tom. Everything was carefully and thoughtfully planned for us and our guide was super friendly, flexible, fun and informative. We spent the first part of the day on a boat in the Gorge du Verdon, a gorgeous peaceful place — you can tell this is where locals go on weekends to relax. Tom had prepared a lovely picnic for us to take along, filled with local specialties and wine. Then we drove through the beautiful Provençal landscape to a few lavender fields and even came upon a nicely bloomed sunflower field. We had the flexibility to stop wherever. Then we wrapped up with a relaxing time in the St Croix village with a beautiful view of the lake. The experience was relaxing, tailored to us and Tom was great — just great energy, super nice and it was lovely hanging out with a local from Aix. You can tell he really cares that his guests have a good time and get to know Provence. If you’d like to spend a lovely carefully curated day in Provence with a local, definitely book with Tom.
