Today we were lucky enough to go diving with Sadeepa. We went as a family and he made us feel super safe. Very attentive at all times. Very respectful of the turtles and the environment. We are delighted. He is the best!!!!!

This was our very first snorkelling experience, and it turned out to be far better than we could have hoped for, thanks entirely to Sadeep. From the moment we met him, he was reassuring and clearly very experienced. He took the time to explain everything in simple terms—how to use the mask and snorkel, how to breathe properly, and what to expect in the water. His instructions were clear and patient, and he made sure we both felt comfortable before even entering the sea. You could tell he genuinely cares about his clients’ safety and enjoyment, not just rushing through the session. What really stood out was how he tailored the experience to our different skill levels. My partner is a beginner swimmer, and I don’t swim at all, yet Sadeep managed to make both of us feel safe and supported. He stayed close, gave constant encouragement, and adjusted his pace to match ours. He has a wonderful personality—friendly, positive, and naturally good at putting nervous people at ease. Even when we struggled a bit, he never made us feel rushed or inadequate. Instead, he celebrated every small progress, which boosted our confidence immensely. By the end of the session, we were both smiling and already talking about when we could go again. Sadeep didn’t just teach us how to snorkel—he gave us an experience we’ll remember for a long time. The photos and videos were great and he also gave us fantastic local travel tips that made the rest of our Mirissa trip even better. The absolute BEST experience in Srilanka especially if you’re terrified of the water!If you had told me before this trip that I’d be out in the ocean snorkeling with Ceylon Sea Adventures, I would have laughed. I am genuinely the kind of person who gets nervous just stepping into a swimming pool. I am very hydrophobic but I really wanted to try something daring while visiting Srilanka.Enter Sadeep. I was so scared that I spent at least 30 to 45 minutes just panicking, struggling in the shallow water and trying to build up the courage just to put my mask on and lower my face in. Most people would have lost patience, but Sadeep was incredible. He spent so much time giving me gentle step-by-step guidance, talking me through breathing techniques, and making sure I felt 100% safe and comfortable. He never rushed me even for a second. Thanks to him and the team at Ceylon Sea Adventures, I actually did it and floating out in the ocean ended up being handsdown the highlight of my trip! If you're thinking about snorkelling or diving anywhere in Srilanka, you have to book with Sadeep /Ceylon Sea Adventures.
