Unique way to see San Francisco. If you are coming from a country that drives on the other side of the road you're in for a treat. Our GPS was playing up and we missed Lombard Street but they were more than happy for us to go back out for free to drive down it. We did it on a Saturday and the traffic was pretty bad. 3 hours was tight and we couldn't see the painted ladies in our allotted time.

Please Mention the $500 deposit first in the booking description
This was viral on TikTok and went to the website to book. No one stated that there’s a $500 deposit needed. The $500 deposit should be mentioned first in the description when booking. We weren’t aware of the deposit until arrival. Unfortunately a whole group of us didn’t get to experience this.

Amazing way to see the city
We had a great time. Would do it again. Great way for the free spirited to see the city. We didn’t have to have a guide the gps let us do it at our pace.
We paid for all day. And basically took the three hour tour at our own pace. We added the twin peaks, and painted ladies and all of the side trips
And it toon 5 hours
Make sure your audio is working before you leave,
We could not hear ours and had to stop and call back in. The helper got us fixed up.

All Day Rental - 5 STARS
We rented the all day go car. It was beyond wonderful. We enjoyed it so much and were able to go off tour to certain places we had heard of just a wonderful experience.
Your crew members are a spectacular group of individuals. Each went out out of their way for us and our adventures.

Fun GoCar Tour with Great GPS, but Slow Check-In and Unclear Insurance Details
We rented two GoCars for the entire day, and overall it was a really fun and unique way to explore the city. The GoCars ran great, were easy to operate, and the GPS navigation was simple to follow. The built-in audio tour was a fantastic feature, providing interesting information and making the experience even more enjoyable. While the cars themselves were a bit worn cosmetically, they performed well and that didn’t affect our experience.
I’m giving this experience 4 stars because the check-in process took much longer than expected. Since we booked through Viator, our reservation wasn’t loaded onto their check-in tablets, so nothing was prepared when we arrived. This delayed our departure and cut into our touring time.
Additionally, the insurance information wasn’t very clear during booking. Viator mentioned an optional insurance fee, but when we arrived, we learned there were actually two recommended insurance options that would leave you with $0 out-of-pocket costs if anything happened to the vehicle. It would have been helpful if this had been explained more clearly upfront.
Despite those issues, the GoCars themselves were a blast, and I’d still recommend the experience to anyone looking for a fun and memorable way to see the city.

Ray is the best and the Slingshot was a lot of FUN!!!
I am taking the time to acknowledge your employee, Ray, at the San Francisco GoCar location. I had a reservation for a Slingshot, and when we arrived, the line was out the door and down the street with people who had and DID NOT have reservations. I've done Go Car here before, and after 10 minutes, I remembered the self-check-in kiosk. I made my way inside, and after accessing the Kiosk, I learned my reservation didn't come up. The waiting room was jam-packed with people checking in and others trying to get a new on-the-spot reservation. Ray was assisting some folks who had checked in and needed to watch the orientation video. Since this location didn't have anyone facilitating who should go where or answer any questions, I asked Ray for a moment of his time. After working with the folks who had to watch the orientation video, he went to a computer and pulled up my reservation. He realized that the slingshots were not in the kiosk check-in. He promptly worked on checking me in and ensuring we made our appointment at the scheduled time. Ray was extremely courteous, kind, and professional. He's a great employee for Go Car and should be recognized for his sincere professionalism!
We had a great time on our Slingshot and did the Marin/Muir Woods.
Great fun and I highly recommend it!

Great experience
Absolutely loved the GoCar experience! We rented the cars for one hour, while others in our group rented theirs for three hours. I think the three-hour rental is probably better, but even the one-hour route includes Lombard Street and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Driving the car was a real adventure and so much fun. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I was driving by myself, got lost, and returned early. They told me that when the rest of my group returned, someone could take me to Lombard Street—which was truly amazing customer service.
My only criticism is that the GPS could be better. It tells you which route to follow, but the directions can be confusing, so it is easy to get lost.
Despite that, I would still give the experience five stars—and the staff a definite 10 out of 10!

S&S road trip.
The ride is fun, and it takes you to places that you wouldn't otherwise think of going! Definitely take the long tour because it's a lot to experience
