Glengoyne is one of those distilleries that feels crafted rather than commercial. The whole experience is slow, calm, and incredibly well run — very “Highlands meets cosy storytelling”. The guides are the real highlight: warm, funny, and properly knowledgeable. You never feel rushed, and even if you’re not a whisky expert, everything is explained clearly and with passion. It’s the kind of tour where you walk away thinking, “I actually learned something,” but also “I’d happily sit in that tasting room all afternoon.”

Absolutely loved the tour , We have done a few distillery tours but this is by far the best. Robert made it for us, he is an amazing guide and as fellow Scot’s he made us feel proud to be so .

Great tour of the whiskey distillery. Unfortunately, it is currently the still season, which means you cannot see the production. However, that does not make it any worse or anything. I would gladly do it again.
