ギザの大スフィンクスは、エジプトと世界で最も象徴的なモニュメントの一つです。 ライオンの体と男性の頭を持つ石灰岩の像で、ファラオ・カフレ（ギザの第二ピラミッドの建設者）を表していると考えられています。 スフィンクスは全長約73メートル、高さ約20メートルで、古代世界最大の一枚岩像である。 真東、朝日に向かっており、ギザ台地の有力な守護者として見られた。 像は4500年以上前（紀元前2500年頃）のものである。 失われた鼻と髭は有名な謎である—ほとんどの歴史家は、後の時代に破壊されたと考えている。

We had an incredible experience visiting the Giza Pyramids. Seeing these ancient wonders in person was unforgettable. Amazing Giza Pyramids Experience! We had a fantastic day exploring the Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx.
