Do not recommend
Our experience yesterday on an airport transfer was my worst ever in nearly two decades of Viator bookings. My name wasn't included on the representative's sign, so while she was right there (we saw her with a sign with others' names) we stood around for 15 minutes and tried to reach the booking company several times via WhatsApp before we finally connected with her. We still had to wait for the vehicle, which would have been too small if we'd checked any bags and was not a minivan as referenced in the booking. The company and I had communicated, I thought collegially and successfully, in detail, about making one additional stop before our final destination, but the woman who picked us up was unaware of this, and in spite of my asking her to share our stop and final destination with the driver, he did not understand where we were going. Every stop was a challenge, as we don't speak Portuguese. The driver was the only highlight, as he was patient and helpful, in spite of the language barrier. In part because of the communication barriers leading to incorrect stops, the trip likey took at least an hour longer than he expected as well. When I shared this with the tour company, they apologized for my experience, took responsibility (without offering a "make good") and committed to sharing with the internal team to avoid this happening again.

After reviewing the operation with both our airport representative and driver, we confirmed that your name was displayed on the reception sign, the Chevrolet Spin minivan assigned matched the booked service, and the driver had the information for your requested stop and final destination. During the route, he only asked whether you preferred to make one stop earlier because the vehicle was already passing that location; when you chose to keep the original order, the trip continued accordingly. What we do recognize is that there was a delay in connecting you with our representative at the airport, and we understand how stressful that can be after a flight, especially with a language barrier. We have reviewed that part of our process internally so future guests have a clearer and smoother meeting experience.
