As a family, we were in Genoa, and with bakery apprentice Bella we were thrilled how their story ends in Genoa. It was exciting to walk through the streets and alleys of Genoa and read interesting facts about history. Downloading the app etc. we did before, so we just had to go to the starting point and could start the game directly. Definitely recommended! Since the game is not available in German, we chose English, although we had to help our children in part. As a family, we visited Genoa and watched bakery apprentice Bella's story unfold. It was exciting to walk through the streets and alleys of Genoa and read interesting facts about its history. We had already downloaded the app, etc., so we just had to go to the starting point and start the game right away. Highly recommended! Since the game isn't available in German, we chose English, which we had to help our children with at times.

This was so fun! It would work for a solo traveler, couple, family with young children or teens, and even a whole group! Only one person needs the activity or you can get more to divide up on teams. The clues do not give you multiple choices so you really have to think- or Google. You can also use some of the points you earn to ask for hints. It is not super easy but the challenge is fun and rewarding. I love that it starts at the home of Christoper Columbus but if you go on a Monday you can only see the outside because it is closed. We really discovered parts of the old city we would not have even noticed on our own. It’s a great city adventure tour!

Genoa is a very busy urban city with similar characteristics of Naples - gritty, unkempt in so many places with historic palazzi in marginal condition, but still some charm with an absolutely huge port facility.
