ジンギスカン自身が取り付けた巨大な鉄製の馬の像は、世界最大の騎馬像です。 高さ 40 m のこの像は、ツォンジン ボルドグと呼ばれる地域のトゥール川のほとりの丘の中腹にあり、首都ウランバートルと 54 km の舗装道路で結ばれています。 チンギス・ハーンがこの地域で鞭を見つけたという伝説に従って、ツォンジン・ボルドグが選ばれました。モンゴルでは、人が鞭を見つけることは、幸運、良い運命、そして機会のしるしであると信じられています. 彫像は東、ジンギスカンの生誕地、日の出の方向を向いています。東に目を向けると、彼に挨拶する彼の母親の小さな像が見えます。
ゴルヒテレルジ国立公園とタートルロックをハイキングします

Thoroughly enjoyed this day-trip tour from Ulaanbaatar. The Chinggis Khan monument and Gorkhi-Terelj National Park are not to be missed for an itinerary for Mongolia’s capital city area. Dorj was our tour guide, and he did a wonderful job teaching the history of the sites, driving the bus, and taking care of us all day. I recommend this tour.
Baga was a great guide. Witty, knowledgeable and fun. Other travel mates were amazing as well. Overall a neatly designed itinerary and it was bang for the bucks! Anyone having double thoughts, just go ahead and you won’t regret!
Was pleasantly surprised with this tour and was a good way to spend the day. If I had to be picky it would be that our guide spent a really long time in a few locations which put us very behind. I would also have liked to tour the museums on my own without every movement being choreographed. What should have been 7-8 hrs turned into over 12. Was a bit too long for me and traffic is difficult to be in the car with motion sickness. That being said if you’re prepared for all day it hits all the great spots and I enjoyed my time. Felt safe and comfortable as a solo traveler as well.
The tour is fun and the guide is kind and nice, what a amazing tour
The Tour Company had 3 cars moving/traveling together. The Tour guide in our car was a beginner and spoke a very poor English. But that is ok, no big problem. When we arrived at Genghis Khan statue, the most experienced of the 3 tour guides got ahead of talking to the 3 groups. This guy should only be a Tour guide instead of expressing his political point of view about this or that Country.
Dean the tour guide is an icon and a goat all in one. He will get all the angles, knows all the spots and loves to climb and aurafarm on turtle rock. Great tour and pretty views btw guys :) <3
Amazing tour guide Dean (the goat) showed us around to all of these great locations and was extremely keen to take photos for us. Super friendly and a great singer- get him to do Mongolian throat singing. Pray for his car the engine light was on. 10/10 no notes

An excellent day that we will not forget! It was intense with discoveries and activities. A real delight. The guide was a very good driver, and his explanations were fascinating. It was interactive and friendly. The companion was very kind and attentive. The flow of the day was great, and the meal was very good. We can only recommend. Put on clothes to walk and be fit to enjoy the wonderful day that awaits you. 👍😎
what a fantastic day, the weather was perfect. its quite a climb to the top of the monument via a very narrow staircase, but well worth the effort.
