We toured the GEM with our guide Hoda on our last day, she was very friendly and knowledgeable, we learned a lot about the Egyptian history from her. We wish we could’ve met her earlier in the week when we visited the Giza Pyramids and the other museums. We cannot wait to go back & see more of Egypt with her
We spent a week in Egypt and out of several guides, Hoda was clearly the best. She has a masters in Egyptology and it shows. While at the Grand Egyptian Museum she described the history and meaning of numerous artifacts, moving quickly but stopping every time we wanted to look more at any specific display or exhibit. She answered questions about the meanings of drawings or hieroglyphs very well, describing the back stories as well. Her English was very good and she even taught us some Arabic! We highly recommend Hoda and would hire her again in a heartbeat for any future tours!
We had a great time at the Pyramids, the Great Sphinx of Giza and the EGYPTIAN MUSEUM. Hoda was our guide and I will say that she was the sweetest and very informative. If you're booking, ask for her. You won't be disappointed.

We had through Tui / Imagine a very good Dutch speaking guide Hany Saleh. Good explanation, not too much, not too little, enough free time to look around. Protective where necessary in Cairo. Great!
One of our main goals was to see the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum, in Giza..!! Hoda and Ahmed met us at our hotel promptly at 8:30am for the morning drive to the museum. Ahmed, navigated the busy rush hour traffic, with ease. Hoda was very knowledgeable and personable as she gave us a detailed history lesson of the kings of Egypt. It was a fascinating experience, some personal time to explore on our own and was ready to take pictures of us too. A few extra stops at different stores gave us the opportunity to buy some souvenirs. Very memorable day and Hoda and Ahmed were awesome 👍😎..!!
This does not come with tickets - that needs to be more clear when picking this option. Then the guide had me buy tickets and somehow I got the wrong ones. And they were 30 min late picking us up. Despite the very frustrating beginning, the tour guide was knowledgeable and let us take our time to go through exhibits and to make up for being late they let us stay an extra hour and grab lunch and look through the shops.
The experience was great and smooth with our guide Hoda. She adapted to our needs and is very knowledgeable.
Fascinating tour of the GEM museum - definitely worth visiting with a professional guide. Highly recommend.
