Imperial residence maintained really well friendly staff if you arrive by train the castle is located in godollo but two stops before the last
Gergely was a great guide, extremely knowledgeable about the castle and Budapest in general, and willing to adapt to whatever pace and depth we wanted on the tour.
We greatly appreciated our guide Gregory. He made the experience enjoyable as he shared his vast knowledge of Budapest, the Royal family and especially Sisi’s relationship with Hungary. We highly recommend Viator’s relaxing 1/2 day trip from Budapest to Godollo Palace.
Gergely was our guide to Godollo. He was very knowledgeable about the palace and spent plenty of time in each room so we ended with a comprehensive history of the Palace and the families that had lived there.
