While it was fun to drive the FUV, it was 3X the cost of a rental car and for only 4 hours. If you like the open air motorcycle vibe, this may for you, but honestly, we could have seen more of the island in a rental car. I also have to say that the self guided app was problematic. It was probably user error, but once we missed a waypoint, we couldn't figure out how to get back on track. We used Waze at that point for the rest of the tour. Lastly, if you take the south tour to the waterfall in Kaui, be aware that there is a $5/ person park fee and a $10 parking fee. We could see the waterfall from the parking lot and decided it wasn't worth the fees. The tour operator should make its patrons aware of these costs before embarking on the tour.

My wife and I aren’t much for shopping or swimming, but put us on an FUV and we’re having a blast instantly!! The FUV is simple to operate and the instructor does a good job making sure you understand. After a quick couple laps we were off to see the beautiful island. Following the guide is basic and the stops breathtaking. Although we didn’t stop to shop at any of the cool local stores or swim the beautiful beaches, my wife and I had the best time…. In fact I’d say it was the most fun of all of the activities we’ve done on the island!

A very different and fun way to tour parts of the island. The FUV is an exciting ride and very unique. The tour operator TJ does a great job in preparing you with easy operation instructions and digital directions with tour highlights. One of the best excursions on our trip. We highly recommend this experience.

No power steering but very manageable. Bring a charger for phone as you’ll be using map navigation. Seats aren’t the most comfortable but fine for four hours. The east route has too many beach stops.

It was so nice to ride around the island. Saw cliffs, sea turtles and waterfalls. Pickup was a super short and cheap ride to the pick-up place. Everything was explained easily.

We had an absolute blast riding the FUV 3-wheeler around Kauai! It was such a unique and fun way to explore the island, and the vehicle was easy to drive and definitely turned heads everywhere we went. Our only suggestion is that the rental time could be a little longer. We felt like we were always watching the clock and didn’t have enough time to stop, explore, shop, or enjoy the destinations along the way. A longer ride option would make the experience even better. Overall, we highly recommend it—it was one of the highlights of our trip! 🌺🌴

Renting the FUV was one of the highlights of our trip! It was such a unique and fun way to explore the island. The vehicles were easy to drive, well-maintained, and made sightseeing so much more exciting than a regular rental car. We loved being able to enjoy the fresh air, stop whenever we wanted for photos, and easily find parking at all the beautiful spots. TJ was friendly, gave clear instructions, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. He provides easy routes you can use to explore different parts of the island. If you're looking for a memorable adventure and a different way to experience the island, I highly recommend renting a FUV—you won't regret it!

We had a blast. The owner was great. We tried to book with the QR code at the location the night before but it wasn't working so we had to book 3rd party..found out that cost us $100 more for both couples...not happy about that.

Fun day! Would go again ! Only thing that I would change is to be side by side instead of behind my husband. 😊
