ジェラシュの廃墟都市は、ヨルダン最大かつ最も興味深いローマ遺跡であり、主要な観光客の呼び物です。堂々とした儀式用の門、柱廊のある大通り、寺院、劇場はすべて、ここが重要な帝国の中心地であった時代を物語っています。最もカジュアルな考古学ファンでも、この遺跡で半日は楽しめます。ただし、露出した遺跡を探索するには非常に暑いため、暖かい季節には帽子と日焼け止めを持参してください。 この敷地は広大なエリアをカバーしており、特に標識がほとんどないため、最初は気が遠くなるかもしれません。遺跡を生き生きとさせるために、チケットチェックポイントで知識豊富なガイド (JD20) に相談して、主要施設内を案内してもらいましょう。ゆっくりとしたペースで歩き、倒れた柱に座って壮大な景色を楽しむ時間を確保すれば、主要な遺跡を最短 2 時間で訪問できます。
故フセイン国王が祖父の記念碑として 1989 年に完成したこの青いドームのランドマークは、最大 7,000 人の参拝者を収容でき、中庭にはさらに 3,000 人が参拝できます。 500 人の礼拝者を収容できる小さな女性セクションと、はるかに小さな王室の囲いもあります。洞窟のような八角形の礼拝堂は、コーランの碑文で装飾された直径 35 メートルの壮大な青いドームで覆われています。これはアンマンで非イスラム教徒の訪問者を公然と歓迎する唯一のモスクです。

Nice driver, Hassan is fantastic and great. There is free wifi on board and unlimited bottles of water. The driver also explained many things.
A perfectly organized day exploring the impressive ruins of Jerash and the vibrant highlights of Amman. The driver was friendly and professional, making the experience smooth. Our tour guide Fox did an amazing job understanding what we were interested in seeing and doing. He provided the perfect preparation for each venue and went above and beyond to ensure we had time to explore. He was so amazing that he even ensured we had a taste of the local customary cuisines such as knafeh, local coffee and teas. He did this on his own because he wanted to share the wonderful experiences of Jordan. This was a fantastic way to experience the rich history of Jordan. Jerash is a hidden gem and incredibly well-preserved. Our guide and driver, Samer, was friendly and professional, and made sure we had enough time at each stop. I was impressed bThis was a fantastic wayy how safe and organized everything was, even in the busy parts of Amman.
Such a rich and interesting day exploring both ancient and modern Jordan. Jerash is unbelievably well-preserved and the guide explained its history in a very engaging way.
