I had an excellent experience with V Icon Resources throughout my stay in Ipoh. I booked 3 tours — the Full Day Ipoh Private Tour, the Cameron Highlands Private Day Tour (Package B) and the Kuala Sepetang Private Day Tour — as well as a private transfer from Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur with a stop at Tempurung Cave along the way. Each time the service was impeccable. The drivers were always punctual, professional and friendly, making every journey comfortable and stress-free. The tours themselves were well organized, interesting and enjoyable, with plenty of opportunities to experience the local culture, scenery and attractions. The transfer to Kuala Lumpur was also smooth and pleasant and the stop at Tempurung Cave added a memorable highlight to the trip. I would highly recommend V Icon Resources to anyone looking for well-organized private tours and reliable transportation.

From the time we were picked up out driver Jim went out of his way to make our experience special for us. We found the Cave Temples amazing. Kellie’ s castle was interesting , as was the plantation visit. The absolute highlight for us was the Mirror Lake. It was such fun to don hard hats and life jackets to go through the tunnel, on an electric boat, then experience the serenity of the lake. On our way back into Ipoh itself we stopped for lunch, delicious , and then went to see some sights of Ipoh old city. Concubine’ Lane was interesting and colourful, as were the other sites. Jim was so knowledgeable about Ipoh.

The arrival bus was so late that I contacted the driver, but he didn't even look bad and waited for me. It was a solo trip, but he told me to see as much as I wanted wherever I went. Thanks to Jim for the guide 💓

Jason, our guide is a very young man and super polite! He had demonstrated professionalism much more than some older one we had! We covered all the places that were listed except one - we didn’t care to go anyway. He totally catered to our needs and made our tour very relaxed.

Maran showed us the sights of Ipoh and a lot more. His English was perfect and he had a lot of knowledge about the city in general and the places we visited. He also took us to an excellent and amazing value lunch venue that we would never have found. The tour had a wide diversity of themes and was very interesting. Thanks for a great day.

Excellent day trip covering many highlights in and around Ipoh. Our driver, Vinod, was relaxed and informative and he made recommendations about the itinerary to suit us. Highly recommended.

Fantastic day trip from Ipoh covering many places at a really good pace. Rames my driver and guide was brilliant - professional and knowledgeable with vast experience and made this a memorable day out. Every place we went was terrific from Kellie’s castle; to the various cave temples like the Perak Cave Temple (must climb the step to a great view of Ipoh) to the Sam Poh Tong Temple; Mirror Lake at Tasik Carmin. His lunch recommendation of chicken rice was perfect too. Highly recommend this trip.

Jim was terrific- professional, patient, friendly and knowledgeable about his hometown in Ipoh. He took me around to all of the highlights. It was a private tour. So, he catered to whatever I needed and wanted on the tour. I would highly recommend going to Ipoh and hiring Jim to be your tour guide. He made my visit to Ipoh extra special.
