Nikos did an amazing job. It was quite scary with the fires. He kept us updated the entire time, by keeping track of the radio. He explained a lot about Greece, politics, history etc. He was flexible to change the itinerary after the fires prevented visiting certain sites. He allowed us to find our own restaurants, no kick back. He was also very keen to show us other sites in Athens. Nothing was too much effort.

If I could give 100 stars on this website I would. Alex was our guide and we had the best time ever - I’ve been to Athens many times and wanted to arrange a tour for my husband to Napflio - Alex was very knowledgeable and accommodating he told us many things about the Greek culture and history which was fascinating. Napflio was beautiful just like I remembered it 20 years ago. Alex recommended a great restaurant for lunch which we enjoyed and we spent some time at the fortress where you can see all of the city. Very small group Theodur our driver was extremely engaging, knowledgeable on world cultures, and Greek history and culture. He was a safe driver, cheerful, and flexible, very easy-going. We were fortunate to have only four total in our group, and so we were able to expand our time at Epidavros, which is important for us in particular to spend more time at. After the hectic time spent in Athens this was a very welcome respite. Beautiful countryside. The history of Mycenae and Epidavros is worthwhile and the sites a more extensive walk than what you might think , be prepared for that.

Great day trip from Athens. Corinth Canal, Mycenae Archaeological Park, Treasury of Atreus, and tomb of Agamemnon, and an impressive visit to the best Ancient Greek amphitheater we’ve seen. The 19th century fort on a mountaintop near Nafplio and the mountain scenery and spectacular views of the bay were an unexpected bonus. Our driver / guide, Theodore, was very knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating throughout the long day.
