Excellent tour! Benjinthe tiur guide and driver was excellent. Full of knowledge. Good sights. Traffic can be slow. Be prepared, as ride can be bumpy and loud....to be expected with a land rover

Great tour of all the sights. Got grouped with 8 others in a range rover to see the sights. Nice as a solo traveller to have others to be with for a day. Our driver was great, very informative. They drive fast around the windy roads and there’s no seatbelts in the back so be ready for a fun ride! Some admission fees are not covered, so make sure you have some cash on you. I would have like longer at certain stops to be able to explore a bit more, but overall a great tour of the major attractions around the Tanah Rata area!

The positive: Mossy Forest and the tea plantations are super interesting, and the guide provides great information about them. He was dedicated all day to achieving the best for his group. Now unfortunately the negative: We were ten (!) in a Land Rover. Absolutely unsafe… The few seat belts that were available were partially secured with cable ties… Strawberry farm, orchid and rose garden, as well as the lunch break at catastrophic restaurants are pure tourist rip-offs.

Had a very positive experience! Went solo and was joined by a group of 7 other people. Our guide Ben is very professional and knowledgeable, sharing many interesting information about the places we were visiting. There was also sufficient time provided to walk around and explore each of the stops we were at.

We had a fantastic day on the Mossy Forest tour. It packed so much into one day without ever feeling rushed. As well as the Mossy Forest itself, we visited a Buddhist temple, tea plantation, orchid and rose garden, butterfly farm, petting zoo, a local farmers’ market, strawberry farm and stopped for a Chinese lunch. It was great value and we saw far more than we expected. The Mossy Forest at around 2,000 metres above sea level was definitely the highlight. The scenery was beautiful, and we were very fortunate with the weather. It had rained heavily overnight, but we had sunshine throughout the day, and even our guide commented on how lucky we were. Our guide, Benji, was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful throughout, and really made the day enjoyable. By the time we got back to our hotel we sat down for a rest and both instantly fell asleep.

A nice tour in itself. A few stops were too much for me. For example, we did not visit the butterfly garden. Everywhere, extra admission had to be paid. Personally, a tea and strawberry plantation and Mossyforest would have sufficed for me. Unfortunately, due to the holidays, it was extremely crowded everywhere, so we often did not have enough time. Therefore, a few fewer stops would have been better.

We had a great day with Tamil on our tour of the mossy forest, tea plantations, strawberry growers and then later in the afternoon a mountain hike. Simply wonderful. Tamil was brillant, punctual, friendly, curtious and very informative. Even though we had to cut short our afternoon trek when we encountered bees and he and I got stung Tamil was brillant and handled everything with the medical center. No adverse effects of the stings, it was a one off and it certainly WOULD NOT put me off doing the trek again. It was just sad that we had cut it short as my husband and I were really enjoying it

This tour is a great way to get around the Cameron Highlands to see the main tourist attractions. It isn’t a comprehensive tour full of local information rather a nice chat with the guide/driver stopping at points of interest like viewing the tea plantations and guided thru the ‘jungle walk’. We didn’t see the mossy grove boardwalk as not as interesting as jungle walk which is on an informal track that requires some fitness and agility. It was long and a nice way to start the day with views at top. As we didn’t have a car, this tour provided us a way to see places that are a few kms apart. The land rovers are fun but wouldn’t want to be in the very back on bench seats and they do have seatbelts unlike previous reviewer mentions. There are stops at very touristy places, the butterfly farm attraction with a very rude woman on front payment counter … come on be better lady! Choose this tour if you’d like an easy way to see the Cameron Highlands. Shout out to Mohan our guide for giving us any great day out

Excellent tour guide (Ben), really knowledgeable and friendly. Really cool to be driven around in his landrover. We did the coral hill route as the mossy forest was closed due to a landslide but we didnt feel like we’d missed out. Would definitely recommend!
