Excellent private day tour with family and guide Dina. Highly recommended , everything went smooth.

Our Luxor trip and visit to the Valley of the Kings was absolutely incredible. Dina was such a gracious, knowledgeable and thoughtful guide who made the entire experience smooth and memorable. 10/10 — we couldn’t have asked for a better guide or experience!

The driver put in touch with us the day before to confirm location for pick up, it was really easy and the driver was really good and respectful. (Shadi) When we arrived to Luxor we meet with Dina the guide, she is wonderful. It’s delightful to listen to her explaining everything, because she is an egyptologist she knows everything, the passion she has is remarkable, also she made recommendations whether to go some places or better places to go, that made the experience better. I truly recommend her, if I came back to Luxor I want Dina to be my guide. We came in mid summer so the temperature was 40-41•C, it was really hot in some areas but with shade, water and a fan it’s manageable.

Dina was our guide. She was excellent. Its very palpable how much she knows about their history and how much she loves it. Despite the hot weather, having a great guide and great transportation for sure made the experience very valuable. I highly recommend exploring Egypt by her hand. Thank you so much for the adventure

We booked Hesham Egypt Private Tour for an all inclusive tour from Cairo to Luxor for the day. We were picked up promptly from our hotel and taken to the airport by Shadi. Dina met us in Luxor and was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She crafted our day to our needs. Our driver in Luxor was very good. When arriving back to Cairo, our driver met us promptly and delivered us to our hotel.

A trip to Egypt wouldn’t be complete without a day trip, at least, to Luxor. The transportation from our hotel to the Cairo airport and back could have been better but it didn’t deter from the trip. Once arriving in Luxor everything was flawless. Remon was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable and made sure we had enough free time while also keeping us on schedule. I would recommend this tour.

Our guide Remon was so knowledgeable and spoke clearly and loudly. He made Luxor so easy to understand!

Let me start with what worked well on our one-day visit to Luxor. The guide (Maichael) was very friendly and engaging -- imparted knowledge and interesting insights into the history and culture, as one would expect. The driver was punctual with all pick-ups, transported us safely and comfortably throughout the day. Each of them warranted 5 stars apiece. We would have no hesitation working with them again, in other words. Now, for what should have -- and could have -- gone much better: We purchased a one-day, all-inclusive tour for nearly $600 per person. And yet, we only had one bottle of water provided per person for the entire day in 45+ C heat. There are also the extra costs: Valley of the Kings should not be missed, but it is disappointing to learn, only upon arrival, that to visit any of the really popular tombs (Tutankhamen, Seti I), then one must pay extra. The same goes for lunch, which is included for the price option we paid. Only during the tour itself were we informed that, if we wanted to go to a sit-down restaurant/cafe, then it would be extra -- otherwise it would have to be takeaway (again, draw your attention to the 45+ C heat). We ended up eating lunch in the car on the way which was very uncomfortable and unnecessary for the price we paid. Another disappointing surprise is that the tour wrapped up at 4pm (our flight coming in was delayed by one hour, otherwise the tour would have been finished at 3pm, providing for even more time we would have to fill ourselves). Our flight back was not until after 9:00 pm; so we were caught of guard when we were asked where to drop us of at 4pm. For example, at minimum cost, the tour could have handed us off to a boat operator to go out on the Nile River for a couple of hours. Five hours of sitting around trying to figure out what to do when we purchased an all-day, all-inclusive package was disappointing. This is the responsibility of the tour operator/organizer to plan the day in a way that is productive for the money paid. This brings us to the next and last point that was raised by at other reviewers: the organizer's communication style is extremely pushy and aggressive, even by the standards we experienced with other operators in Egypt. Hesham Egypt Tours would be better served by focusing on delivering a higher-quality experience to the customers they have already booked rather than constantly trying to sell additional tours. Too often, the emphasis on generating more business comes at the expense of the quality and value of the tours already being provided, leaving customers feeling that they did not receive good value for the money they paid. In conclusion, Luxor's magnificent sites are not to be missed if one can fit it into their visit to Egypt. We will never forget the sense of awe and wonder we experienced, and we are grateful for the good efforts of both the guide and driver. We strongly suggest the operator focus on providing clear information at the outset, so that expectations are met and disappointing surprises are avoided -- precisely because they can be avoided.

Maret was a great guide with very in depth knowledge of ancient Egyptian culture and all there is to see and do in Luxor, I spent two days with her and she made sure everything was exactly how I wanted Private pickup and taxi to and from airport and hotel every day! Great value!
