It was a very long and exhausting drive because of traffic. I would recommend taking the tour on a Sunday if you are not keen on the long drive. The boat trip and information shared was very good, oh and don't forget the nice chicken on the roadside.....fingerlicking good! For our tourguide: 10/10. I had one of the best experiences of my entire trip thanks to Sharif, hands down the best tour operator and guide in Kampala! The day started with a stop at the famous Uganda Equator line, where I got to experience the iconic photo moment and learn about the Coriolis effect in a fun and interactive way. Sharif made sure I avoided the crowds and explained everything with such passion. After that, I continued towards Jinja, known as the adventure capital of East Africa, and it truly didn’t disappoint. The highlight was definitely visiting the Source of the Nile — standing at the exact spot where the world’s longest river begins was absolutely magical. The boat ride on the Nile was peaceful, scenic, and full of history. Sharif knows every detail and shared incredible facts about the area. Throughout the entire trip, Sharif was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe, comfortable, and entertained. His knowledge of Uganda, his humor, and his care for every detail made this day unforgettable. If you're in Kampala and planning a tour — don’t even think twice, book with Sharif. He’s the best!

1. The assigned Guide Mr Pius was professional, friendly, accommodating and knowledgable. 2. The Source of the Nile is a good place for photos. 3. The vehicle provided by the Tour provider was a huge disappointment. The vehicle promised when the booking was made was supposed to have airconditioning but actual vehicle did not. The vehicle was in poor condition inside ( my seat had dried bird droppings on it!) and the inside was filty and my window could not be operated by me as the button did not work.
