I was alone but made to feel so welcome. The tents were way more comfortable than expected, the food was surprisingly delicious, it was all excellent value I thought. It's the furthest camp from the village so no disturbances at all. A grazing camel even wandered over! I loved the tour as well, even had lunch cooked in the shade of a hill. It's an amazing experience in every way. Thanks team!

It was one of the best experiences for me and my family. We started with a camel ride in the beautiful desert then checked out the canions and arcs, the nature is incredibly fascinating. The people, Salem the host and Francis, are amazing people that made this experience even better. We slept under the stars which was an unbelievable, with the most beautiful views. Would recommend 100%, It was an unforgettable experience.

I had an amazing experience doing an under the stars overnight stay and jeep tour with Salem. The Bedouin food and tea were excellent. And jeep tour in the morning was amazing too. Salem is very knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Had an absolutely incredible time in the desert with Salem and his brothers. The camp was just as expected – very comfortable and really felt like you were out in the desert on your own, because you basically were! The stars were amazing, and had a perfect time laying out next to the fire just looking up at the night sky. The tour was great fun, and Salem was the perfect guide – accommodating all of our needs, and being very knowledgeable and lots of fun. The food was incredible and we couldn't have asked for better hospitality. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Jordan, which is an all round amazing country with great people. Thank you for making it a once in a lifetime experience.

We spent a very beautiful and rewarding day in the desert of Wadi Rum with Salem, an attentive guide, patient and real wealth of information. He took us to 12 different spots, all interesting and varied. We also had the chance to share a generous lunch with his family, a warm moment during which we discussed and exchanged well. In the evening we spent the night in his camp. We were the only guests that day, which allowed us to spend a privileged time with Salem around dinner. The tent was comfortable, and even though the sky was overcast — depriving us of the sunset and stars — the experience remained memorable

I travelled to Jordan alone and Salim and Frances were soooo good at communicating all relevant information before my stay, alleviating any anxieties. Due to the quiet tourist period, related to people's anxieties about the Israeli war, I was the only guest at the camp and Salim and Frances were absolutely wonderful at making me feel so welcome and comfortable. I stayed overnight and had a 3hr jeep tour in the morning. It was honestly one of the best experiences I've had travelling. The environment was beautiful, the sights which Salim took me to were stunning and the service was overall great. Couldn't recommend enough.

The real Bedouin are serving it. Wadi Rum is divided into two areas: Protected area and Diseh. This will be the former. Discounts are available for stays of 2 nights or more. Restrooms and showers are communal. I especially recommend the OP "Sleeping under the stars". 15JD per person. It was great to sleep under the stars. I was able to see many shooting stars. All three meals were voluptuous and delicious. The most impressive thing is the birthday surprise. We were able to meet with them beforehand by email and it was a great success. My friend was quite happy. Please note that you will be approached by a variety of people at the Visitor Center, which is the entrance, but you must not speak to anyone. Fraud is rampant, scamming people out of money. If they talk to you, please ignore them at all. Also, there are no ATMs on site. You will need to have enough local currency in advance to pay in cash. English is understood without any problems, so I can recommend it to Japanese people. The staff are all friendly and will definitely be the best memories.

We compared many camps in the Wadi Rum Desert beforehand, but this one is really the best (which was also confirmed on the spot)! It is located at the extreme edge of the Protected Area, after which comes only the deep desert. This makes for a longer journey (on the jeep from the camp), but this is an exciting experience in itself – and definitely worth it! The silence in the camp and its surroundings is indescribable, the view from the local mountain (and also from the cabin) breathtaking and the sunset a true dream. The tent cabins are incredibly comfortable and the whole complex is very well maintained and extremely clean, especially for being in the middle of the desert. The food is rich and delicious, and there is also plenty for vegetarians and vegans. Day trips are relaxed and impressive at the same time! In the evening, a campfire creates a cosy atmosphere, under a sparkling starry sky with delicious tea and exciting stories of Salem. A visit to Neumond is particularly recommended to admire the Milky Way in its full glory. The people here are incredibly friendly! Salem is a great guy, his brothers also all nice and Frances the good soul of the camp. We constantly talk about our stay at "Real Bedouin Experience" and plan to come back to Jordan sometime (hopefully very soon!)! An unforgettable experience and highly recommended! Book with Salem – and preferably two nights directly to take the full experience with you! We have travelled a lot but have never been to such a magical place where you felt so far away from everything. (Sorry Salem & Frances for the late review! Excellent desert experience - a small camp so you get a very personal experience. The desert tour was customized for what we wanted to so and see. Meals were basic Bedouin style but more than plentiful and yummy. Salem Nasser and his team are so gracious and eager to please.

This tour was a really good Bedouin experience! We met Salem at wadi rum village and started the jeep tour through the desert. We visited a lot of places and ended up at the campsite. The tent was very comfortable, very hot showers and the dinner was incredibly delicious. Salem set with us at the fire at night, with tea, watching the stars. Salem speaks English very well and is a very good host. He even helped us with the transportation to and out of wadi rum village. If you want a real Bedouin experience, I would recommend for sure!
