From the water, this was a great way to see the shoreline of Halifax! The atmosphere was casual, music was good, team was friendly, and a chance to help raise the sails for those who chose to give it try.

It was nice but sails were only up for a short time near the end of the excursion. Musician was good. not much in the way of history or local landmarks was given

Weather was perfect. Staff were friendly and experienced. Entertainer had a good variety of music

If it is sunny wear hat and sunglasses and be ready for an experience of a lifetime . When it's time to raise the sales don^t hesitate to lend a hand very cool experience.

Such a wonderful experience! Kenzie was an absolute star and even let us take a quick peek at the engine room. She also provided us with some “honorary crew member” certificates (which I am sure are normally for children) which are such a sweet reminder of our trip. The musician was also wonderful, would definitely recommend this trip!!

There is music and drinks and pretty sites and loud bird. Sometimes you learn things. Very good stuff

Loved it! The ships crew was welcoming, singer impressive, safety emphasized and views stunning. A must do for any Halifax guest or local!!

That was unfortunately a bitter disappointment - an unmotivated crew, but the worst part was that it was absolutely not a sailing trip; in the most beautiful weather and good wind conditions, not a single sail was set, nor was any explanation given as to why not. We absolutely did not book that, a normal boat trip without much explanation and a guide. Even the singer Pete couldn't improve our mood anymore. Absolutely not recommended, especially not for the price! You get the feeling of being ripped off. A real shame. In any case, we will never book there again on a return visit to Halifax.

As we’re approaching 80, with a couple of joint replacements and arthritis, this was a nice rest amidst the continuous walking up and down the hills of Halifax; just two hours on the water with live background music. The weather cleared, so we had a cloudy, but pleasant sail. Best advice we can offer is to pay attention to the basic rule: comfortable shoes, and take a small daypack so you have water, and are able to layer, layer, and layer if you need it. The weather is unpredictable.

The prospect of sailing on the tall ship was the traction. But despite milder winds motoring down the east side of McNabb’s Island there were no sails. Then in was too windy in Halifax Harbour. We might as well have gone on the Harbour Hopper.
