I booked the tour as a family of 3 people and it was cancelled 2 days before the date. The operator offered another tour with the starting point in Florence which is impossible when you stay at Siena. Not sure the reason the tour cancelled but maybe not enough people. I am not saying it is a scam but definitely it is not profesional. I got the same experience during covid with a tour in Venice but it can be excuse due to covid time but this time it is quite bad given all the schedule planned ahead. Please be very careful with the tour with little reviews!

This tour needs to seriously be reworked or rebranded to better fit what it actually is: a quick tour of small towns within the Tuscany region with a small lunch included. It is not a wine tour and to put that in the name and description is incredibly disingenuous. The tour starts off in Siena but you don’t actually tour any of Siena (which is fine) but it is a major city and worth your time more so than whatever this was. Your “wine” lunch is a group lunch in 40°+ room with no fan (yes I get there is no AC. But please. Some kind of air?) with two quarter glasses of red wine with no explanation or tasting. It’s just there. And bottles of water you split with 5-6 strangers in the heat. The rest of the trip is visiting various cities but you are on your own. There isn’t like any kind of guide through the city, which honestly is the only reason this didn’t get 1 star because again, I did not assume we’d be walking around for much of it. Your actual wine tasting at the end is also just two sips of wine with a very lengthy conversation OUTSIDE on benches in a grassy area. Again. 40°+ weather (it also started to storm which would not have been an issue if inside). In sum, a lot of outdoor / on your own with very little wine and/or food included. If you are looking for a day through smaller towns in the area, it’s great, but I don’t think this quite fit wine and food tour. A bit of a miss.

It is more of a tour of several charming small towns (3x 1 hour free time during the day) than actual tastings strictly speaking (2 different wines with the meal, max 50 cl per glass and 2 small pours in Montalcino, with some explanations in English even though we had booked a tour in Italian). Our guide Andrea and the driver Mirco were great! Thanks to them!

Very full day visiting several Tuscan towns. Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino were all lovely and quaint. The winery in Montepulciano was amazing! Lunch and wines were fantastic! We did get lost and it was hard to get back in touch with our tour so make sure you take pictures and get phone numbers. Also, think about what you might want to buy in advance- you will have time for shopping!

Absolutely wonderful tour in the most beautiful parts of Tuscany! The Val d’Orcia is stunning!!! We loved the wine tasting in Montepulciano and the delicious lunch. Fell in love with Pienza and enjoyed a very charming outdoor wine tasting at Montalcino. Plenty of time to explore at each stop. Marco was a wonderful guide and our driver was very professional. Highly recommend!

It is spectacular. Very well organized; incredible landscapes, delicious food, and very good wines. An excursion to recommend. Sofia, our guide, was excellent, and Alberto, a great driver, made the transfer very pleasant.

If you want to spend a day exploring the beautiful rolling hills of Tuscany, visit three charming historic towns, and enjoy two local wineries, this is the tour for you. Comfortable transportation takes you to each location. Giovanni, our driver, was a pro at expertly manuevering the twisting roads. Sofia, our tour guide, was delightful, and provided interesting facts along the routes, and translated the history and information about the wineries. We had plenty of free time at each town to explore and never felt rushed. The lunch was delicious and plentiful and the wine complemented the meal. The second winery was incredible, being in the same family for 27 generations! The hostess was welcoming and funny but taught us much about the wines. This tour is well worth your time!

Be aware of this tour operator! I arrived at the meeting point 13 minutes before departure time 9:45am. Saw no guide and other tour people. I texted the tour organizer in Viator app, but didn’t get any response until 9:40, and was informed that the tour has left. This was my first experience booking a tour in Viator. I think this tour operator can’t be trusted. I’ll continue to pursue the full refund.
