The trip itself offers everything it promises. It's fine to take a trip with children.... these are experiences that you don't find everywhere. A bit 'Gardaland in my opinion, if you imagine to make an authentic experience is not quite this. Definitely a good trip as a diversion from the sea. We were all delighted with the experience. Maybe a little less haste in moving from one thing to another would have made the day more enjoyable. As for making bread in the desert and tea...you can do better. Life in the desert is fascinating and in my opinion it can be told better.

A must do! We had the best evening, I would have stayed all night. Everything was fantastic, the camel ride, the stargazing, the dinner, the show. Not to be missed!

The TLDR version is for trips into the desert just book the cheapest ‘desert safari’ as all seem to be the same. I booked a trip that was specifically a stargazing experience with dark skies and time with a telescope and a professional astronomer. What I got was driving a quad bike in and out of the desert with a stop for meal at a very touristy Bedouin place. Me and the one other person who had booked stargazing were guided to another location at dusk during the time the other people were watching a show to look very briefly through a telescope at a fuzzy Venus and Sirius and then sped back to the others again. We caught the tail end of the ‘astronomer’s talk to another group (was this the one we should have been in?) saying some obviously incorrect things about why stars are different colours (tell him it’s due to their temperature and not because they burn different gases!) As an excursion it was ok and the guides were very nice but it wasn’t what I booked and paid for.

We booked the start gazing tour as it mentioned looking through a telescope to view. The telescope itself was not great and could see better with the naked eye. So not impressed with that. Our tour included camel rides which I thought I could skip but had no choice but to get on. We lasted 5 minutes as we were scared. Everyone else looked quite comfortable. The boy looking after us was really nice and walked the rest of the way, taking pictures of us on the mountain rocks. We then made our way to the bbq area which was nice. There was a show while you ate. The food was really good. They picked us up by car to the “star gazing” then driven back to the hotel. We stayed in naama bay and it was only about 15-20 drive.

Hassle free pickup on time. The people at the camp were lovely, and the food good. This trip has no ATV-driving, we were driven directly to the camp by car. This was ideal for us, but it also meant we didn't really go that far into the dessert. There was still light pollution from the city, and the landscape was more a building site than a dessert. If you want a real dessert experience, this is not the trip for you. Still good value for the price

Perfect trip! Food was lovely, star gazing was informative and entertainment was first class. We was a group of 7 from 63 year old to a 2 year old and we all loved it. We saw Saturn, Jupiter and the moon up close. The fire starter entertainment was brilliant. Thanks to all involved. We had to change the date as my little girl was not well and it wasn’t a problem. Was picked up promptly and returned back to the hotel safety.

Camel ride, dinner with shows and then nice stargazing experience in the center of the mountain with detailed explanation. Very good price quality tour!

It was very amazing day with nice guide Wael many thanks for him .i t was very good trip i recommend this trip for everyone and although i want to thanks operation team because they help us for more things to do although . i recommend this company Stargazing Egypt trips for doing any future trips

It was the best trip we had in Sharm el Sheikh, and my husband and I had so much fun riding on camels and having a Bedouin dinner , seeing the stars all over us as if we were in a beautiful dream , thanks to all the staff who served us
