Our guide, Torquil, was very knowledgeable, informative and funny. He did a great job explaining all of the sites that we saw and his stories were funny and relevant. Overall, we had a great time and recommend this tour.

Fun day with lots of different stop with our guide Torquil. Will consider more tours when I find myself back in Scotland!

Highly recommend this tour, company and our guide Iain McGilvish (sp). Iain is truly a wealth of knowledge and specifically clan and Scottish history. Additionally he is a great storyteller. As for the tour, a small bus max of ~ 25 passengers (less than this trip) with comfortable seating and room. The exterior back accommodates a limited amount of luggage if you need to bring it along for a follow on departure. The coois (hairy cows) are always great for photo ops. The Belnuaran of Clava provide a close exploration of winter solstice cairns. Cawdor castle is magnificent, well preserved, easily toured with audio guides included in admission. Further the gardens are breathtaking and diverse in fauna and foliage. The Castle Roy is a much earlier castle and an excellent example of what happens when not “correctly” aligned politically. Finally, the views through the trip and drive within and on-site exploration of the Cairngorms was majestic. A specialty treat was seeing the reindeer herd there. Stops throughout for bathroom and vista photos were always well timed. Highly recommend this tour and company.

Our Tour Guide was Martin. He was very friendly and did a great job to show us around the scotish highlands. Even though he talked alot it never got boring.

We have now returned from Scotland where we went on 3 different tours with 3 different companies. Of all the tour guides, Iain was the best. He had a strong background in the history of Scotland and the sites we went to, and he was able to answer all our questions. Extremely worthwhile day!

Iain was a very knowledgeable tour guide who made the drives in between a lot of fun. The stops were great and enjoyable from a history perspective. Glad we were able to see the highland cows by chance!

Bring swimsuits. Eat quick lunch sandwich in Aviemore. Guide Martin is a fenomenal guide and busdriver! Thanks for your humour.

This is a great way to spend the day seeing the countryside outside of Inverness. Our guide/driver, Donnie, was excellent and provided historical background on the places we went as well as practical tips (“try the scones here,” for example). Even though I had been driving a car for 5 days, I wouldn’t have wanted to drive some of the country lanes and I wouldn’t have known they even existed. And it was nice not to have to drive for a day! For all the stops (maybe 6 total?), this is a great value. Thanks, Donnie!

I arrived on time & had to find another carpark space. As I approached the bus it pulled out even though I was waving at the driver etc. I then drove to the first stop & met the tour but the driver wouldn’t allow me to join the tour because I’d booked through 3rd party ie. TripAdvisor. I have tried contacting TripAdvisor with no luck at this point.
