あなたの旅は、フェスから朝の出発から始まります。 ホテルやリアスからドライバーがあなたをピックアップし、小さなグループに参加します。 街を後にして、絵のように美しいモロッコの田園地帯を眺めながら、風光明媚なドライブをお楽しみください。
ヴォルビリスから少しドライブすると、モロッコで最も神聖な町のひとつ、ムーレイ・イドリスにたどり着くことができます。 2つの丘の上に佇むこの絵のように美しい村には、モロッコ最初のイスラム王朝の創始者ムーレイ・イドリース1世の墓があります。 廟内にはイスラム教徒以外が入れないが、狭い通りを散策したり、白塗りの建物を眺めたり、丘の上の見晴らしの良い場所から息を呑むようなパノラマを楽しむことができる。 ムーレイ・イドリスではモロッコの伝統的な生活を垣間見ることができます。通常30分ほどの短い訪問で、のどかな雰囲気を味わうことができます。
最初の目的地は、紀元前3世紀に遡るユネスコ世界遺産の古代ローマの都市ヴォルビリスです。 午前10時に到着すると、グランドアーチ、入り組んだモザイク、ローマ時代の家屋、寺院、公共建築物の遺構など、保存状態が非常に良好な遺跡を探索します。 かつてローマの入植者が歩いた通りを散策し、街の豊かな歴史について学びましょう。 凱旋門、バシリカ、キャピトルは必見の見どころです。 約1.5時間かけてこの魅力的な考古学的遺跡を発見し、旅を続けましょう。
次に、モロッコの4つの帝国都市のひとつ、メクネスへ向かいます。午後12時30分頃に到着します。壮大な建築とリラックスした魅力が融合したこの歴史的な都市は、スルタン・ムーレイ・イスマーイール時代のモロッコの首都だった場所でもあります。 複雑なゼリジュのタイル細工と巨大な木製ドアで有名なモロッコで最も見事な門の1つであるバブ・マンスールで、訪問を始めましょう。 その後、メクネスの中心部であるラハディム広場を探索し、大道芸人を見たり、モロッコのミントティーを飲んだり、地元の屋台を閲覧したりすることができます。

Reda was our driver and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was very prompt and took us to some of the best places to eat. If we were staying longer I’d have booked another tour with him. I certainly recommend him as your tour guide!
