Superb morning at the Cai Rang floating market, with my family, including my 88-year-old mom and my sister. An authentic atmosphere on the water! We went to visit the floating market which, despite currently being quite touristy, we liked a lot. We ate wonderfully. The noodle soup breakfast and the dumplings are highly recommended. The coffee and the fruit were also exquisite. And our guide Nga treated us wonderfully.
It was a unique, relaxing, and curious experience. We left at 5:00 AM to fully enjoy the early morning hours when there isn't much traffic. We had breakfast right on our boat and then we moved on to visit a noodle factory and a boat that sells pineapples. At 8:30 AM we were in Tan Cho. Our guide NGA was kind, smiling, passionate, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. The sailor (a woman) was attentive and careful.
Nga was fantastic, very professional and knowledgeable. She made our experience truly unique. Highly recommended!
An amazing tour with Nga! We started at the floating market where we had the freshest fruit we've ever tasted... mangosteen was the highlight. Grabbed a bowl of fantastic Hu Tieu soup right off the boat. Next stop was a noodle-making factory where my twin daughters got to make noodles themselves (way more labor-intensive than expected). We finished at a cacao factory, a great way to end the day. Lots of food is included in the price, which is a great value. Nga is incredibly knowledgeable, and she took some wonderful family photos for us too. Highly recommend!

Have just returned from our five hour tour with Nga as our guide. Such an incredible experience, and Nga was exceptional. A great knowledge of the region, food, plants and people. Nga was so well connected at the floating markets everyone knew her so we got the best Bahn Mi and Pho for breakfast. With Nga we felt like we were one of the locals, and not just another tourist. Last March I spent a Monday morning visiting Cái Răng floating market on Cần Thơ river with my wife. The tour started at dawn. The boat was driven by an expert lady and we were led by our tour guide Trang, who was great. She spoke high-level English and did a great job explaining things to us from a local perspective.
