Very good communication prior to the activity. The crew was very friendly and helpful! We spend a lovely day in Mnemba! Lunch is delicious and fruits and snacks as well!

The most beautiful and ethical Mnemba experience 🐬⛵🌴 One of the best experiences we had in Zanzibar, and definitely something I would do again and again! We chose Zanzibar Dhow Company for the kindness of the crews and the owners! We were lucky enough to see dolphins during our journey, but in the most beautiful way: peacefully, from our boat, without chasing them or disturbing them. Unfortunately, around Zanzibar you can sometimes see many boats following dolphins while groups of tourists jump into the water around them. This was exactly the kind of experience I wanted to avoid. With Zanzibar Dhow Company, it was completely different. We found the dolphins while we were basically alone, watched them from a respectful distance and simply enjoyed the magic of seeing them in their natural environment. No chasing, no stress, no disturbing the animals. This was incredibly important to me and made the experience even more special. 🐬❤️ Once we arrived near Mnemba, we went snorkeling in crystal clear water surrounded by beautiful tropical fish. The crew took us to a quieter area where there were almost no other people, which made everything feel even more peaceful and exclusive. After snorkeling and swimming, we stopped on the boat where the crew prepared an incredible fresh lunch for us: fresh fish, chicken, vegetables, rice and delicious traditional Swahili dishes, all cooked right there. Eating such fresh food, surrounded by this incredible scenery, was simply unforgettable. Throughout the day they took care of us constantly. We had fresh fruit, snacks, coconut and drinks always available. On the way back we were so relaxed that we actually fell asleep on the dhow! 😂❤️ Another beautiful part of the experience was the journey itself. We travelled towards Mnemba using the motor, but on our way back the crew opened the sails and we returned under sail on a traditional dhow. Feeling the wind, listening to the sea and slowly sailing back after such a beautiful day was honestly magical. The crew was fantastic: kind, professional, fun, attentive and always ready to make us feel comfortable without ever making the experience feel rushed. This is exactly how I wanted to experience Mnemba: slowly, peacefully, authentically and with respect for nature and wildlife. If you are looking for a different kind of Mnemba tour, away from the feeling of mass tourism and with a crew that genuinely cares about giving you a beautiful experience, I absolutely recommend Zanzibar Dhow Company. We had an absolutely amazing day with Zanzibar Dhow Company on the Mnemba Island trip! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The crystal-clear waters around Mnemba were absolutely breathtaking, and swimming with the dolphins was an unforgettable experience. The barbecue on the boat was also delicious and made the day even more special. A huge thank you to the entire crew, Sultan, Said, Linah and Nice. They were all incredibly friendly, attentive, professional and fun throughout the whole trip. They took great care of us, made sure we were comfortable and were always there with a smile. You could really tell that they cared about making the experience special for their guests. This was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Zanzibar. Beautiful places, amazing food, dolphins, crystal-clear water and, most importantly, an incredible crew. We highly recommend Zanzibar Dhow Company and would definitely choose them again! Thabit (Cronixx) was our guide and cook. He prepared an excellent and delicious meal for us. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He made the experience exceptional! Captain Ally, Captain Khamis and Abdullah our driver to the excursion were also very attentive and exceptional. This crews kindness, and charming aura is what made our trip memorble. So glad we chose this company for our all day Dhow experience in Zanzibar. Asanteni sana to all.

Sultan, Said and Jumah provided a wonderful and relaxing experience. They picked us up by boat directly from our resort. The meal was absolutely delicious and authentic. All 3 had great personalities and provided a great vibe. Also, the boat had a sundeck directly on top if you wanted to sun tan. Highly recommend!

Mjumbe, Sultan and Dullah organised the most incredible trip for me and my sister to Mnemba Island. Dullah arranged transport from the hotel to the dhow in Kendwa. He was right on time, the van is fresh and tidy and he drives safely. The dhow had many fresh and clean pillows and felt comfortable. There were more then enough icecold drinks, as well as delicious white wine and beer, which are and all included. We were chilling in the clear blue ocean while Mjumbe, Sultan and Dullah started preparing a delicious fresh lunch. We ate fresh lobster, vegetable curry, chicken, guacamole, salad and much more. After lunch we went to Mnemba coralreef to go snorkeling. We saw hundreds of fish in the most beautifull colors. Flippers and snorkling gear is offered by the crew. After that we started sailing back towards Kendwa where we watched sunset and enjoyed fresh coconut. We had the most amazing day, one never to forget. The crew is so friendly and doing their best effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Mnemba Island is heaven on earth

Everything is perfect, well organized, very well eaten with an incredible view of a turquoissseee blue lagoon and a dive on a coral reef!

We were very welll taken care of. The food was the best I had. The captain & tour guide were wonderful as well

We had a wonderful snorkeling trip to Mnemba Island , Captain Mjumbe was professional and experienced, and the crew especially Wendy and Minje were friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy. The snorkeling was beautiful, with clear water and colorful marine life, including zebra fish. Everything was well organized and relaxing from start to finish. Highly recommended — a true highlight of our Zanzibar trip!
