This was such an amazing experience. My sister and I were in Vegas for a concert but we're much more outdoors people so we booked this while we were there. We had such a fantastic time we went home and bought Kayaks and went out the very next weekend. Our guide was incredible. So helpful when needed but also super laid back and just let us enjoy. I loved this company because the tour was so small compared to other huge groups we saw on the river. This was truly the hilight of our weekend.

If you go in the summer, bring LOTS of water and protect yourself from the sun. The tour was awesome! Guide was engaging and attentive. He carried extra water and had snacks for us! A memorable experience for us all!

Our guide Jerry was funny and phenomenal. Had the greatest time. Learned a lot. I wished TripAdvisor would have sold the other excursion options as well. There is just so much to do. Our occasional water gun fights were a welcomed break and cool-down from the heat.

We had a great experience on our tour. The views were amazing and the water was refreshing in the mid-afternoon heat! Our guide was super easy to talk to and had great stories to share. I would definitely recommend a journey up the river to view the caves, cliffs and green water.

This is our second trip to the Emerald Cave. We had such a fun day. Jared is an amazing guide. He worked with us to give us a fun day, and maximized our experience on the river. He is knowledgeable and shared lots of history and facts throughout the trip. It's clear he loves what he does. Because it was a relaxed day, we had time to really enjoy the scenery and savor being on the river. The water squirters were a great addition and helped us cool off and have a bit of fun.

I followed the instructions, though admittedly arriving a little after 9 am due to my transportation from Vegas, but before launch time. When I got there, not one of the companies had my name on their list. I did not have a text confirmation just email which unfortunately I could not access at the time. My ride was hired from my hotel in Vegas, I opted out of the shuttle as a stop near my hotel (Fontainebleu) did not exisit. This left me at the marina without a way back to the hotel as Uber/Lyft can't enter unless they pay the park fee which they won't. I had no option but to walk in 110 deg heat back to the park entrance...something that was so dangerous in the heat that the National Park Service was contacting me to see if I was out of the park alive. I was stranded by this company. They did not attempt to contact me to see if I was okay at all. I had no contact info provided while they had mine. I am not being offered a refund or anything easily.
We're truly sorry to hear about your experience. After reviewing your reservation, we'd like to clarify a few details for anyone reading this. The transportation you arranged from Las Vegas was through a third party and was not affiliated with Trek Las Vegas. Prior to your tour, your booking confirmation included our company name, meeting location, driving directions, arrival instructions, and contact information. We also left you a voicemail the day before your tour with additional check-in information but did not receive a return call. When you arrived, you did not have access to your booking confirmation or the name of the tour company you had booked. Because multiple outfitters operate from the marina, neither the marina staff nor the other tour operators were able to determine which group you were looking for or direct you to the correct meeting location. Your name was on our tour manifest, and our guide was expecting you. However, your required online waiver had not been completed, you had not checked in before departure, and we received no communication from you that morning. The group waited an additional 15 minutes beyond the scheduled launch time before departing before it became necessary to leave with the other guests. We were also surprised to read that we never followed up, as we made multiple attempts to reach you after the scheduled tour to discuss what had happened. We've been hoping to connect with you to review the situation and discuss a resolution, but unfortunately, we have not yet been able to reach you. While we're sorry you were unable to join the tour, we also believe it's important to clarify that our team had the tour prepared, your reservation was on our manifest, and we made multiple attempts to communicate both before and after your scheduled departure. Guest safety and communication are extremely important to us, which is why we provide detailed arrival instructions in advance and encourage guests to keep their booking confirmation available and contact us immediately if any issues arise on the day of their tour. We wish you all the best and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
