エッラからアンベウェラへの列車の旅は、スリランカで最も絵に描いたような短い列車の旅の1つと考えられており、中央高地の息をのむような景色を楽しむことができます。 1等ACコンパートメントまたは2等AC以外の指定席をご予約いただき、快適なご旅行をお楽しみいただけます。 列車はエラ鉄道駅を出発し、霧のかかった山々をアンベウェラに向かって徐々に上昇し、目的地まで約1時間半から2時間かかります。 途中、電車はなだらかな茶畑、雲に覆われた丘、深い谷、象徴的な鉄道ループなど、素晴らしい景色を通り抜けます。 旅を続けると、冷涼な気候と風光明媚な景観からスリランカの「リトル・ニュージーランド」と呼ばれるアンベウェラ近郊の野菜農園や松林、広い放牧地なども目にすることができる。

Chathum at Lakpura was very helpful and responsive when assisting me with booking a train ticket from Badulla to Ella. When the train I originally wanted to go on was not available he recommended another, which was absolutely just as good! He took care of the booking and being able to pay online in advance was helpful in ensuring I was on the correct train for my itinerary. The whole experience was over WhatsApp and he sent me a digital copy of my tickets that I was able to show at the station to receive the hard copies. Would recommend!
