Elena was an amazing tour guide. We had a 11 person group and made sure everyone was riding ok on the bikes. The e bikes are great and made climbing the hills super easy. Stopped at the beach would recommend you pack a swimsuit for a dip before the ride home. All and all this we a great experience

I loved riding through the streets of Marseille and stopping along the way to see the sites. I also enjoyed our picnic at the beach and riding through the national park. We were able to see things we would have never seen if it wasn’t for this tour.

There was a lot of fast city street riding which is scary for Americans who are not used to riding in such busy traffic and literally down the middle line with cars whizzing by in both directions. When away from the city, the scenery was lovely, but the pace was so fast on rocky graveled roads that we really could only appreciate it when the group stopped. The bikes were fine (although the one my husband rode was too small), but we would have liked more guidance on riding in town traffic and a much slower pace. At times we could not even see our guide in front of us. There are two very steep hills in the middle of the ride that were pretty tough even with pedal assist. True mountain bike riders should have no trouble though.

Great experience today on an electric bike excursion! The course was really nice with beautiful scenery, accessible even without being a great sportswoman A huge thank you to our guide Arthur who was on top from start to finish: nice, reassuring, funny and very pro! He put everyone at ease and made the exit even more interesting. I recommend 100%, do it again without hesitation

Fantastic trail, really needed an electric mountain bike for this trail. Some cycling experience would be very helpful. Great views of the ocean. Trail leader was very good. English was fine. We had a few problems with the bikes, but we were able to finish the trail.

Selected this tour for a cruise excursion. We wanted to see the city and National Park in just a few hours. We were picked up at the port by Emmanuel, the owner of Fada Bike Tours, who communicated with us via text in advance then drove us to the bike shop to meet our tour guide Fabienne. We do not speak French but both Emmanuel and Fabienne spoke English and were kind and pleasant. We ordered a lunch from the cafe in the shop to be delivered en route. We biked through the city, up to Notre Dame de la Guarde, where we took photos and visited the cathedral. Fabienne explained some of the history and took our picture. We then proceeded along the coast, stopping at the beach for a swim and lunch, which was delivered by an employee who waited along our route. We then continued on to Calanques National Park and back through the city, seeing two more parks before arriving back at the shop for cool drinks at the cafe. We were delivered back at our ship promptly. The bikes were in excellent condition with comfortable seats. We are not regular cyclists but although we pedaled many kilometers, we thoroughly enjoyed the longer tour and were able to see many parts of Marseille in a few hours. Both Emmanuel and Fabienne were professional and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our e-bike tour in Marseille.

Walking in the creeks by electric bike , superb scenery and swimming as a reward. Unforgettable. To do again, without forgetting with our guide Martin

Exciting way to see Marseille and Calanques. . Excellent guides; were very attentive to their guests. Picked up from cruise port with ease. Great day.

Overall we enjoyed the experience however we were not prepared for the intensity as it gives no details or notice of the true experience over rough terrain, steep incline, steep decline down the hills then through traffic circles. Also they were unprepared as we waited at port for our pick up that was almost an hour late then when we were on our way the guide was nasty to us upon arrival like it was our fault the driver made us late. Even though in the listing it says "we will wait for you, tour at your pace". So then we started in a haste and he always was in a rush leaving some of the group behind and not accommodating to the range of skill and experience. Saw the Calanques which were amazing! however didnt have the opportunity to swim because again he was rushing the tour, since he had an afternoon 1 still. Steep inclines in deep rock gorge which the ebike did help to get through but difficult for the teenagers and my parents on the tour. Then came the downhill....he was in such a hurry even pushing our friend scared of heights to be quicker. Then as the lead he was racing down the hill essentially going full speed no brakes and we were meant to follow and keep up with him going 25mph+. Unfortunately at this time towards the bottom of the steep hill my husband fell over his bike and crashed. Our guide Frank was not the least bit concerned for his safety and more so wanted to inspect the bike for damage. Helmet smashed and all which luckily my husband wore his helmet properly because Frank never checked to make sure anyone's helmet was fitted and worn correctly. Luckily another man on the tour showed great concern and check all his injuries, consciousness etc. and insisted he relax drink water all while Frank was still trying to rush us saying it was the last ride back to the shop we needed to complete. He was cut up and could tell his arm was injured. Frank forced my husband to get back on the bike and still ride the at least 2 miles back, never once offered another way for him to get back or anything. Luckily it was not worse!! It could of been so much worse for my husband or if my 59yr old parents had fallen! All in all it was not explained the level of intensity or experience needed and my husband ended our trip at the doctors now with a broken elbow from it. Luckily overall we enjoyed our day and time in Marseille however I was upset I scheduled this for my family as they were upset that they felt I had led them on and downplayed the experience.
