Super nice experience. Andres our tour guide was nice and friendly and well spoken in English and Spanish. Highly recommend. Get to see the parts of Medellin you normally wouldn't. Great for teens
First of all, our guide Tomas was excellent! I don’t know how he managed to keep us all together for this entire tour. We had an age range age of 22 to 62, and several in between! (but not an overly big group). I really enjoyed the Conquistador neighborhood and Laureles. Also the parks were cool. El Centro area was super interesting but quite chaotic as there are a lot of walkers in the bike lanes there which make it difficult to look at anything but the path in front of you. I will definitely go back to that area and explore on foot. Part of this tour is quite steep, so the electric bikes were very helpful. Most of it can be done quite easily on a regular bike, and you can use the electric power as much or as little as you prefer. I would recommend that you have some level of comfort on an ebike for this tour because there is a lot of traffic at times and a lot to navigate, although the city has done an excellent job on creating bike lanes in so many different areas. Everything is 5 star except the chaos of El Centro; which is why I am rating it 4.
Superb tour with our guide Thomas...he really took the time to explain the history and the monuments visited to us zone by zone...I am leaving with beautiful and painful stories...I liked it a lot....thank you Thomas for this day 😊😊
We booked directly with Green City Bike Tours for our family of five (kids ages 10-16), and it was a great experience from start to finish. The operators were genuinely flexible when it came to accommodating our schedule — booking directly definitely paid off. Our guide, Tomas, did a fantastic job leading the tour, keeping it engaging and well-paced for a mixed-age group. The route and overall planning were spot on; our teens and 10-year-old all stayed engaged the whole time. Would highly recommend to any family visiting Medellín looking for an active, well-organized way to see the city.
Very good tour to see the important points of the city; the stop to drink water and eat something was super good. I recommend it, especially if you are going alone to get to know the city with confidence. Mateo was a great guide on the tour.
