Nick did an outstanding job of explaining the history of Kyoto. He also gave great recommendations for events around the city and whether they were busy or not at certain times. Nick assisted with safety and comfort by providing rain gear and advice on how to be safe on the road. Overall, it was a great trip with value to any travelers seeking to get the most of the trip and a little exercise too! Great work Nick!
We biked all around Kyoto visiting some shrines and other historical sites. Our guide, Jay, was fantastic!

Biking through Gion at night felt like stepping into another era—lantern-lit alleys, quiet temples, and glimpses of traditional wooden machiya houses created a serene yet mystical atmosphere. The pace of the tour was perfect—leisurely enough to soak in the sights, but well-organized so we could cover a lot of ground. The guide also made sure everyone felt safe on the roads and pointed out details we would have otherwise missed. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Kyoto.
