Buyer beware that this place is closed and there is no communication from the company. I just got back from a cruise and when in Grand Carmen went to pick up E-bikes where indicated and no one was there. I later talked with a local nearby and asked if they heard of Sam’s Bikes and she said that they are no longer in business and believes it has something to do with recent law change on the island related to liability insurance. I don’t have a problem with a company closing up for this reason but for the website still to be up and TripAdvisor still recommending them, that is a problem. Stay far away so you don’t run into the problem we had.

Cayman Islands no longer allows e-bike rentals as of 6 months ago but the company and more importantly VIATOR didn’t know this, took our money and asks me to write a review????? We had planned to tour the island and was left with nothing. No communication from either responsible party.

Terrible company! They did not show up with our e-bikes or contact us to tell us they were canceling. I tried to call them numerous times but it went to a generic voicemail. They never returned my calls. We paid for a taxi to meet them and back to our hotel.

They cancelled on the day of arrival at 2am citing insurance requirements changes. Didn't offer any solutions or even respond.

Didn’t deliver the bikes. Notified us same morning via Viator text they could not deliver due to insurance issues in their end. We arrived onshore and looked for the bikes for 20 minutes before we found the text in the Viator app.

E Bikes were never delivered. No communication from the people. Absolutely terrible experience. DO NOT RENT

Had a great experience with renting e-bikes. Sam was awesome snd very helpful. It was really nice to be on your own with the bikes and experience different parts of the island at your own pace. The bikes were very nice and clean. Definitely would rent from Sam again.

We absolutely loved renting e-bikes and scooting around the island stopping to snorkel at many beaches on the way. Nice new bikes and expert instruction on how to use them even for someone who has never ridden one before. Can't say enough about the owner and how friendly and easy going he is. Well definitely rent from him again next time we are in port.

We had such a fantastic day using Sama's e-bikes. It was easy to drive and the instructions provided at the beginning were fantastic. We will definitely rent again when we are next in Grand Cayman.
