Bram was the success of this tour. He was keeping a close eye on his bicycle tour group. We felt appreciated, we felt cared for, we knew we were safe with Bram.
It' s great to be able to feel like a local sightseeing during a slow and relaxed bike trip. Santiago (Santi) did a great job keeping us entertained! I' ve seen a few negative comments in other reviews regarding visit to the farm - well, this is the reality of how the animals are kept but at least they' re free to move. If you expect a supermarket environment and you' re sensitive to smell or dirt just don' t go there, enjoy a can of pop and some cheese at the entrance area instead.
It was an amazing beautiful experience! Perfect weather, Luna was full of knowledge, answered all the questions and made the arvo super fun! Would recommend and do it again! Thanks Luna!
We originally wanted to go to Zandaam, ( windmills) probably our fault we were not more inquisitive . The trip was lovely, but the windmill was more a static tourist site than meaningful. The cheese factory was a big let down, saw a few sheep and ate some cheese.. No farm info, no “factory” to see, just a run down farm. E bike was ok, but the gears were faulty making a horrible noise the seat was the most uncomfortable bike seat I have ever sat on…. The guide was polite and helpful, did her best, but her knowledge was very limited. Overall a pleasant few hours, but felt we were mis lead re the destination ( other bike hirers do go to Zaanse Schans)

I cannot thank them enough. We boarded the wrong train on Sunday and missed our tour. We contacted them and they allowed us to reschedule for the next day. When we arrived on Monday, our 11 year old was extremely anxious. She was terrified on the street riding her bike. Skip, our guide, was fabulous with her and couldn’t have been kinder, offering many suggestions to make her feel better. Ultimately, we had to take her back and they sent someone to get us. My son and husband rode on and they said top five experiences of their lives. We ate greatly appreciative of the kindness shown and the professionalism of Flagship Bike tours. 10/10 recommend.
SKIP was a great tour guide!! We weren’t sure how this would go riding through the city. But we took the early tour, as it was less busy in the city, which made it less stressful for my family. 10% of the tour was a moderate ride through the city, the rest was a nice ride through the countryside. My family loved it! We opted for the electric assist bikes which was maybe $20 more for all 3 of us. The tour was about 4 hours with about 3 hours of riding. There were several stops along the way where skip explained things about Amsterdam. He was very knowledgable. Overall highly recommend if you want to experience the local culture of commuting via bikes and see a local Dutch farm.
It was absolutely amazing! Skip, our guide, was very kind and very good at what he does. He had lots of fun facts and made the tour great! Plus, everything we saw was so beautiful. I hope I can come back again some day!
