ピット砦（ピットとりで、Fort Pitt）は、フレンチ・インディアン戦争中の1759年から1761年にイギリス軍が、ペンシルベニア州西部でオハイオ川が形成されるモノンガヘラ川とアレゲニー川の合流点に築いた砦である。
デュケーヌ砦は、アレゲーニー川とモノンガヘラ川の合流地点に、1754年にフランス人によって設立された砦であった。 後にイギリス人、後にアメリカ人に引き継がれ、アメリカ合衆国ペンシルベニア州ピッツバーグとして発展した。

マーケット・スクエア（Market Square）は、ピッツバーグのダウンタウン、フォーブス・アベニューとマーケット・ストリートの交差点にある公共スペース。 広場には最初の裁判所と最初の刑務所があり、アレゲニー山脈の西では最初の新聞ピッツバーグ・ガゼットがあった。
ハインツ・ホール（Heinz Hall）は、アメリカ合衆国ペンシルベニア州ピッツバーグの文化地区、ペン・アベニュー600番地にあるパフォーミング・アーツ・センター兼コンサート・ホール。 ピッツバーグ交響楽団とピッツバーグ・ユース交響楽団の本拠地である2,676席のホールでは、毎年約200公演が行われている。
ガルフ・タワー (Gulf Tower) は、ペンシルベニア州ピッツバーグのダウンタウンにある44階建て、177.4 mのアールデコ様式の超高層ビル。 この塔は市の大きな特徴であり、認識できる特徴の1つであり、ガルフ石油公社にちなんで名づけられた。

Our guide Sarah met us at Fort Pitt along with several other guests where we set out on a walking food tour. Along the way we learned many cultural/historical facts, and Sarah was always friendly and engaging with all guests. We were able to sample a variety of classic foods such as pierogis with sausage, primanti bro sandwiches, Turkish appetizer sampler, and pizza all in a variety of settings, including indoor and outdoor. In addition you could choose to add on a beverage from the bar in many places if you would like. She kept our group engaged and entertained the whole time. As a family of 5 we had a fun time, and this experience added to our great first visit to the city of Pittsburgh.
