Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify an important part of this reservation. Your original reservation was booked for Sunday. On Saturday, you contacted us requesting to change your reservation from Sunday to Saturday. We accommodated your request, changed the reservation, and you participated in the tour that Saturday evening. We were therefore surprised to receive a refund request through Viator afterward on Sept 22nd, 3 days after your tour stating that the wrong tour/date had been booked. The Saturday date was not selected by Chogogo Tours; it was changed from your original Sunday reservation at your request, and the tour service was provided and used. Regarding Viator’s cancellation deadlines and the specific cutoff time displayed through their platform, those terms are administered through the booking platform. However, in this particular case, the reservation was not simply canceled—the requested date change was accommodated, and the guest participated in the tour on the newly requested date. We always aim to accommodate our guests whenever possible, and in this case we were able to honor the requested change from Sunday to Saturday. Masha Danki!
