We went on the Tlos, Xanthos, Patara Heart of Lycia trip. As it was just the 2 of us the tour was tailored to our preferences, we spent more time at the ancient cities, bypassed the beach at Patara and came back via a beautiful route through the mountains. Our guide Mehmet was very interesting and knowledgeable. He was very kind throughout the trip, made sure we were ok at all times and gave a helping hand on slippery rocks when I needed it! It was quite a long day (both of us are over 60) but we learnt so much and enjoyed it greatly. Definitely recommended for people interested in the history of the region, although just the scenery was great!
It is wonderful that customizing the route allowed you to fully focus on the history of Tlos, Xanthos, and Patara without feeling rushed. We always prioritize our guests' comfort, so knowing you felt well looked after on those ancient steps and enjoyed the scenic mountain drive back means a lot to us. My second day in the region was very enjoyable, too.l have been to three ancient sites of the Lycian Region and learned about them and the region from Mehmet.It was a great tour!
