The Denali park buses and drivers are operated independently and are outside our control. Because our tour follows a set itinerary, guests cannot switch buses during the tour, but we appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to the park bus operator.

Thank you for your review! You are absolutely right that wildlife sightings are never guaranteed in Denali National Park. The animals are completely wild and free to roam, so every day in the park is different. While we always hope our guests are lucky enough to spot bears, moose, and other wildlife, sometimes the animals have other plans! Thank you for your feedback. We understand that the scheduled stops and facility breaks on the park transit bus can feel limited, especially when you want more time to take in the scenery. The transit bus portion of the experience operates on a set schedule, so unfortunately the timing and length of those stops are outside of our control. The transit buses are operated separately from our tour, so the driver, commentary, scheduled stops, and time allotted at each stop are unfortunately outside of our control. Wildlife in the park is completely wild, so drivers rely on passengers and other people on the bus to help spot animals along the way. We also understand that 4:00 PM is quite late for lunch. The timing of that portion of the day can vary depending on the park bus schedule and wildlife stops, which is why we provide snacks throughout the day, but we understand that it can still make for a long stretch between meals.
