This tour was exactly what I was looking for! A fact based historical account of what led up to the start of the Revolutionary War. Chris was an amazing guide and it was immediately obvious that he has a love and passion for the history. There were brief times it was a bit hard to hear due to the traffic and blaring music but I just got closer so I could hear. Great tour and would definitely recommend for anyone interested in Revolutionary War history.

Mike stepped in as our tour guide when a family birth prevented our original guide from joining us, and he did an outstanding job. This was very different from a traditional Freedom Trail tour, which generally follows a set route and focuses on specific locations. Instead, Mike brought the history to life by introducing us to the people who played important roles in the very beginning of the American Revolution. His knowledge of American history and the Revolution was exceptional. Mike introduced us to many revolutionary-era figures we had never heard of and explained their individual contributions and importance to the Revolution. His stories provided a much deeper understanding of the people and events that shaped the early struggle for independence. There was an incredible amount of information packed into the 3.5-hour tour, yet Mike kept it interesting and engaging throughout. His knowledge and enthusiasm made this a memorable experience, and we came away with a much greater appreciation for the people behind the Revolution. We would highly recommend this tour!

More of a walking History class. Tons of information, but mostly a lot of talking m, telling what you know instead of like most tours being informative. Could have been less “feel it here” and more this is this this is that, etc.

We are different from traditional "this is that" sightseeing tours in that we are not just providing general information and random highlights but to recreate the full chronological panorama of the American Revolution. The overwhelming feedback we have received is that it is both more fun and educational way to explore Boston and the Freedom Trail, but it is a more comprehensive approach and hopefully this feedback helps people find the best fit for them.
